B&B Maria Piddu

We had the entire apartment which was beautiful. Our hosts mother and daughter Elizabatta and Anna treated us like family. We hugged and we cried happy to meet them. Share our stories and they brought us homemade cake and bread and everything we needed. Suggestions on where to go and what to do. Anything we needed truly wonderful women !! The property was wonderful, good location very comfortable and anything you needed was there and if not all you had to do was ask.

It is a one bedroom apartment, a big space, property is kind of old , but it is comfortable. Owner is very thoughtful, provided food , beverages and water for three days we stayed. Thanks Anna and her daughter Elisabeth for Helps when we just got there.

Elisabetta is a wonderful host, she communicated everything very well and responded promptly to every question. She stayed until 7:00 p.m. to check us in personally, explain the B&B, describe the area, and recommend restaurants and things to see. I believe they normally rent two different rooms, but we were the only ones there during our dates, so we had our large bedroom, a nice kitchen area, and an entry area by the front door. Many different breakfast items are available, including various types of breads, yogurt, cold cuts, juices, coffee and tea, all self-service. The building is in an old historic residential district, so the streets and alleys are small and winding, but the b&b itself is in great condition and very clean. it is located halfway between two main roads, including Maqueda, which has all the restaurants and leads to Quattro Canti, a short walk away. Some travelers will prefer the large chain full service hotels, but we enjoy seeing things from a more immersive local perspective, which this property certainly offers. We liked everything

Location, breakfast and veryyy kind host.

The owner comes to meet you at arrival. Explains every thing there is to know. Breakfast table is full of things, water, juice, fridge with ham salami, milk, yogurt. When we discovered the first morning that the bathroom was cilly, Elisabetta brought a small stove within hours. 2 sets of towels for 2 people for 4 days is a bit to little. But after a request, it was soon solved.

Brilliant apartment for a few days in Palermo, my charming partner has been to Palermo many times and was thrilled. Great contact with the landlady, we were greeted with homemade heart-shaped cakes from mom. A lavishly laid table for breakfast and lots of things like yoghurt, cheese and ham in the fridge. Lots of tabs for the coffee machine. We got lots of useful tips. Dear Elisabetta, Thank you very much for the great service, mille Grazie

It's a very comfortable and clean place, very close to the city center and very, very clean. The hosts are wonderful! Thank you! :) it was a bit cold in January

Exceptional

We returned to Maria Piddu after 2 years, because we were happy then and nothing has changed now. Excellent location. Large and comfortable apartment with everything you need even for a longer stay. Instead of breakfasts - a perfectly filled fridge with a large variety of products: cold cuts, cheeses, yoghurts, dry bread, fruit, drinks, etc. No complaints, everything OK. We recommend! It would be worth replacing the shower cabin (or at least scrubbing it with chlorine) :)

Elizabetta and her mother were the most, caring, and kindest people I encountered this entire trip! They made me feel at home and went above and beyond to help me when I was struggling with health issues. I will never forget their kindness. The apartment was superior in every way. They provide food, beverages, everything you need. It's a true B&B experience. They even allowed me to wash my clothes! Amazing place, well furnished and cared for. Walking distance to the train station and attractions. Great price for everything they offer. Stay here, you won't regret it! I can't think of a thing that I didn't like!

The shower was a bit moldy and its doors could not be closed properly. The bed was a bit too soft.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is spacious and located in the center of Palermo. Elisabetta is a very kind and hospitable person. She provided us with a gluten-free breakfast, gave us directions for visiting Palermo and Sicily, and was always available for any questions we had.

We liked everything, nice place with italian vibe, good aircondition. TV with many italian channels. Very welcoming hosts who were available 24/7 and gave nice service and advice. After 9 pm the area outside can be a bit uncomfortable so going out with children in the evening should be with caution

The location was great, close to the center of the city. Our hosts were very welcoming and the apartment was vey clean. In the kitchen we had a table stocked with snacks and everything you need for a little hunger. N/A

Great location, very roomy, and well-equipped. When you arrive, it's like someone else has done the grocery shopping for your stay. Communication with owners was fantastic! They are available for your every need. Nothing!

Elisabetta was a very hospitable host and when asked for advice always responded quickly. Would definitely go back Nothing at all
