Location was great but very noisy at night due to the restaurants around the area. The room was a bit tight with one side of the bed being against the wall. Did not have elevator and room was on 1st floor. Breakfast was good and varied. Having to go up the stairs.

The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything! The apartment is beautifully renovated, looks even better than pictures, with a lot of attention to detail. It is a very noisy place, next to multiple loud bars. This did not bother us as we had great ear plugs but it is good to know> We travelled with 3 couples -all friends and rented the entire place. There was a kitchen area where the breakfast was served in the morning. We used that place in the evening to have some wine and reflect on the day. We left everything sparkling clean exactly the way it was. The owner texted me in the morning pointing out that the space should not have been used and it obstructed somehow the work of a woman coming in the morning to make us breakfast. It did not feel very nice. There was also a camera in the middle of the kitchen pointed at us which felt like a violation of the privacy and made us wonder where else are the cameras.

Paolo from Bedda Mari has been VERY helpful, in fact, I've never experienced anyone to give me so much attention and so many usefull tips on my first day of stay. Thank you! Location has been perfect, just a few steps from everything you need to see. Everything clean, lovely breakfast. I really liked the attention to detail of Bedda Mari. Loved this stay and when returning to Palermo, I would definitely stay here!

The location of the place is really really nice, a lot of nice restaurants in the neighborhood and great atmosphere. The room was very clean and so well furnished, with a lovely view on the street from the balcony. The breakfast was so cute and well prepared! Love the tips of the host Poalo as well! Poalo warned us that it could be a bit loud in the street (kind of normal when you sleep in such a busy area), but they provided earbuds and again pretty logical if you ask me. So it did not bother us!

Info before arrival like parking etc. Perfect location, right in centr Nice and clean

Super central location, next to many bars and reataurants, most sights are within walking distance. Our lovely host Simona gave us a map and restaurant recommendations. The room seems a little small, yet it's spacious enough for a short stay. Bedroom as well bathroom are clean. Shower has a good pressure, toiletries are provided. The bed is comfortable, neither too soft nor too hard. Breakfast is served in the common area (cookies, fresh milk and cornflakes, yogurt, fruits, sandwich/croissant of your choice, coffee and tea,...). Other guests were very polite and respected being quiet at night. Due to the central location it is noisy at night, but earplugs are povided. No wifi reception in the bedroom. I was sent instructions to fix it, followed the first instructions but still did not work. I was sent more instructions, but did not give it another try, as I don't think it is the guests responsibility to fix the issue.

Great location central to most important landmarks. Polite and helpfull staff. Although I agreed to show my credit card to the reception lady on arrival which she photographed despite the fact I had previously paid. This caused me much concern. There is a small table to eat a typical sicilian breakfast left by staff laid out ready for self service. Coffee machine a disappointment only because I wanted a lugo or larger cup. Apartment very lovely and well presented. Queen bed placed up against the wall as room very small. We struggled because we are tall . Lively streets just beyond Apartment but extremely quiet at night. The owner is very responsive and helpfull.

Location in central Palermo. Hostess was very informative. Having to specify arrival time (to meet the host) was a bit inconvenient, but probably not unusual for that type of property. (We were driving from the other side of the island and wanted the flexibility to go at our own pace.)

Very central location - we were able to walk almost everywhere. Lovely room with a little balcony to sit out on which we loved. Simona was a brilliant host, very friendly and gave lots of great tips for visiting Palermo. Great breakfast included. It’s hard to pick anything that we didn’t like! The only thing to note is that as the location is so central, it can be noisy in the evenings. This is of course not the property’s fault, and they also give us ear plugs which was very kind.

The room and bathroom were well finished. I do not recommend staying at this property. First we were told that checking in after 7pm would incur a penalty charge - not market standard, and something to be aware of if arriving late. Check in is not possible after 9pm. We then arranged to arrive earlier than we had planned, and gave 2 hours notice of our arrival which the host acknowledged. On arrival at the start of check in time (2pm, as notified by the host) there was no reception and no way for us to get in. We contacted the host via text and phone call who said she would arrive to let us in in twenty minutes (in spite of her acknowledgement of our arrival time). We waited in this random apartment building foyer for 50 minutes before she arrived. A cursory apology was offered for the delay. I have attached a screenshot of this exchange. Also on our check out day, we had to leave luggage and there was no facility for this so be aware. We had to source this elsewhere. Another thing to note is that it's very loud at night time as there are multiple bars outside. The noise goes on well past midnight, to two or three in the morning. A final point is that the price of this stay per night was the exact same as the nicest hotel we stayed in on our trip. Overall, this property is not the priority of the host and we don't recommend staying here.

Friendly host and nice central location

The room was large and really attractive, and in a central location close to the train station, tourist sites, and restaurants. Simona was very communicative, and kindly let us check in early when we asked if it was possible to drop our bags off before the normal check in time. Breakfast was good, and we were asked our preferences when we arrived. It would have been nice to have a way to make tea/coffee in the room. Our room overlooked a bar that played music all day and into the night. This is obviously not the fault of the hotel, but if you want a quiet spot then maybe this is not the best choice.

Advertised as "Sea View". There was 1 inch of view out the window! Toiletries were mostly used things. Not sure who they belonged to. Towels were so hard they were painful to use.

In a great location amongst the hustle and hustle of an old part of the city with narrow cobbled streets etc Walked there with a suitcase from the train station in about 10mins. Communication with Lavina the host via WhatsApp was fantastic both before arrival and whilst there. The greeting at the property by her was probably one of the best I've ever encountered. She takes time to explain all the different parts of Palermo and places to visit etc. Room was perfect for me. Old building so the room had character. Good wifi, Good shower, little balcony to sit outside watching the people below, a small safe in the room fir your valuables, good air conditioning, good size tv with plenty channels, room was cleaned immaculately, plug socket the one side of the bed and USB port the other side so easy to charge phones at night and check out was easy as you just leave the keys in the door to the room. Hard to pick fault with anything with this place If anything the breakfast was a bit limited and was a bit late at 8:30am Croissants and pastries etc. I had to leave at 8am on departure day and they did make me up a carry out breakfast in a bag which was very much appreciated. Only other things I can think of is that you're in a busy part of the old town so there can be some noise outside at night. Would definitely stop here again if I ever come back to Palermo.

Very centrally located, lovely apartment with modern, spacious rooms. The host was great in the communication beforehand and provided useful tips. Breakfast was also very good. Very busy area therefore it was rather loud at night. Earplugs were provided.

It was clean and in a great location. It was close to the train station. Numerous cafes, restated restaurants and shops at our doorstep. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was great to be on the balcony and watch the chaos of Palermo life below us. The bed was a bit harder then we are used to. The stairs to come up were a bit steep with our big bags.

Staff was super helpful. Beautiful and cozy interior. Great location close to everything you need.

i booked deluxe room and the room was spacious, clean, and full of amenities. The location is near all tourist destination. Lavinia is so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is so cute and complete. Finally we can get the real breakfast after 11 days in Italy! because other accommodation only good in sweets and coffee. there’s no free parking from the hotel. The free parking is at La Cala area. there’s no elevator, so if you book this apartment better dont bring suitcase.

Very cute from stairs all the way to the bedroom. Neat, tidy, clean and aesthetically pleasing :) So central and close to some amazing bars. Love the wine bar and cocktail bar located on the same street.
