Location The noise, someone is constantly doing something in the lobby

The beds were spectacular. The room was very big, and despite having a large window facing the street, it was very quiet. Gabriella, who received us, was super nice, attentive, explained everything, gave us fantastic recommendations, and was very friendly and helpful.

Location is good, and staff were very friendly. It’s a fine place to stay for a night or two. The room is on the small side but not too much of an issue. Parking can be a problem as you have to go to a garage which can be pricey, or find street parking which is very difficult. I’d recommend waiting to get your rental car until you’re leaving Palermo as you won’t need it in town anyway, or returning it when you arrive (which is what we did) so as not to deal with parking. The bathroom is very cramped and the shower door was not able to close properly. The shower drained very slowly. There was very loud noise from outside both mornings that woke us up. Could also hear other guests talking loudly in the common area in the morning.

The staff was exceptional, extremely helpful and outstanding friendliness.

Shower was missing part of a door and created a water issue on the floor. Had to ask for linens for the extra bed.

Exceptional

The location is very good, close to the scenic spots.There are many restaurants nearby. The staff are enthusiastic and considerate. The facilities are old, the shower room is small, and the sewer is blocked.

Room is very clean. Hotel staff is very nice even I didn't meet them but they sent me the insturction all I should know for checking in to the room and reply my message very fast. none

City Center hotel excels in service. The room was large and quiet, the beds were comfy, and the shower was hot, so all basic needs were met. The building is a classic, but the hotel on the first floor looked newly renovated. There's a parking garage nearby, but we found a spot directly opposite the hotel, and the meters allow you to prepay for a full day at lower rate than the garage. We arrived late in the evening but the staff provided us with very detailed instructions, and video, of how to access the building, hotel and the room, where our keycard was ready for us. Every step was well-described so nothing could go wrong. To our surprise and delight, staff had prepared a detailed map of the city, personally highlighting all interesting spots. They also had prepared a list of the main sights, markets, best places for lunch and dinner, and pubs. City Center hotel is conveniently located at the edge of the main shopping street which leads to the heart of Palermo. We used their map as the main guide for our sightseeing the next day. The hotel does not provide breakfast, but the bar next door offers excellent cappuccino and brioches for very moderate (discounted) prices to guests as well as to many locals.

An absolutely lovely place to stay! I enjoyed every single part of my stay here as a solo traveller. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and speak very good English. The room was very comfortable, with a mini fridge, smart tv and access to tea and coffee in the reception area. The hotel is close to most of Palermo’s main sights all of which are within walking distance. The airport shuttle bus stop is about 6mins walk away and costs €10 return. The staff have great recommendations for dining and things to see and do. I would definitely return again. Grazie Mille there is absolutely nothing at all I didn’t like, everything was fantastic
