because we were only there for one night, we had to pay for breakfast which was 14 euros per person. The breakfast was decent but I expected more variety. The shower was in the middle of the bedroom, not in the bathroom where it belongs. The tiled floor looked worn. The room was small for the price we paid.

We loved Palazzo Cartari! The staff was exceptional: Anastasia did so much to elevate our stay, she is lovely, with great recommendations/guidance, and Fabio was a tremendous help - we’re very grateful to them. Our room was so comfortable , the breakfast and cappuccinos were delicious and the location in the old City is perfect for discovering the soul of Palermo.

This is a fine "business hotel". We appreciated the central location, large room with separate sitting area and the fact that there was a workout room. Breakfast was solid and the staff were helpful. The room uses touch screens/electronic controls for everything and their placement is anything but intuitive. This was especially unhelpful for the safe which is set low so that one has to get on one's hands and knees to set it and strain to see the touch screen numbers. A dinner in the hotel's restaurant was OK but not anything memorable.

Situated on a quiet street, not far from the Palermo marina and just one block from Via Vittorio Emanuele, Palazzo Cartari is a magnificent place to stay while exploring Palermo and its surroundings. Thanks to its proximity to all the city's major attractions, this hotel offers an exceptionally convenient accommodation option. Housed within a historic building that once served as a convent, the suites at Palazzo Cartari—featuring exceptionally thick walls—are extraordinarily spacious and completely soundproof. The hotel's interiors have been fully renovated in a contemporary style and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Both water pressure and hot water temperature meet international standards. The entire staff is distinguished by its high level of competence and professionalism. María, the lady of the front desk, is highly knowledgeable and very attentive. The breakfast area is pretty spacious and impeccably clean. Selection of dishes—which is constantly replenished—is broad and varied enough to satisfy every need. Eggs and coffee are prepared fresh on the spot, made to each guest's personal order. Ilenia—who oversees the "coffee station"—is a delightful person and employee; she radiates warmth and is always ready to assist. Overall, a very positive experience! Highly recommended! None

Clean, spacious and modern rooms. Very helpful and courteous front desk staff. Location is perfect, very close (5 min. walk) to Quattro Canti. Overall it was a great stay. Coffee in the room could be complimentary, not a complaint just a recommendation.

Everything was great. Restaurant excellent. Everything thought of in room View just of other close building and noisy at night outside ( not hotels fault)

The attention to every detail was incredible, from the comfort of our room to the design of the building to the breakfast. The dinner we had was the best meal we had in Palermo!

Location No washcloths for bathing.

The staff here is exceptional; friendly, good-humored, and knowledgeable. The staff made the stay better than expected. The location was perfect, everything was within walking distance, and the hotel's common areas are lovely and spotless. The room was large, comfortable, also spotless, and the bed was cozy with soft linens and good pillows. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, with a varied selection and excellent coffee. Love it!

I booked for 3 nights for 4 rooms. 1 week before my arrival. They said they got black out with booking system and over booked our room and they need us to move hotel which at first they offer us to stay in other town, after many talk and discusstion they manage to put us in the hotel next door.

Excellent location, clean and roomy and the staff was very nice and helpful. I would most probably stay there for our next visit to Palermo.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful showing us a map of the city and calling a taxi when requested. The location overall was very good, and I felt safe in this location walking around late at night too. We had trouble navigating the street of Palermo getting disoriented several times, so being close to major attractions was a plus. This was a good choice for our first time in Palermo. We could not get the sauna in the room to work, but that was our fault. We didn't ask for additional help though I am sure it would have be accepted.

The building appears to be new. The room was apartment size with a separate living room. Very modern with electric upgrades for convenience. Staff was amazing, very helpful, spoke several languages, made arrangements quickly purposefully. The restaurant was exceptional, breakfast was very good but dinner is a dining experience. Valet parked the car in a safe place for our two day stay at very reasonable price. Very good value. Oh, 3 balconies too. Nothing that I could see
