The building was beautiful. The artwork was impressive. The room was very comfortable and modern. The staff was super helpful and that included putting together a breakfast to go for us as we headed to the airport.

Staff very friendly and helpful at front desk and in breakfast room.

Also Good breakfast and beautiful interiors at a conveniently placed location. We spent a very average first night in a 1st floor room, with very poor sound insulation both to the street side and to the noise in the lobby. There was also a bad smell coming off the bathroom pipes. Thankfully the staff moved us to a better room the next day but given the price of this stay, this is still disappointing. The second room on the first floor was much better, mostly because it was not on the street side. Still some details that felt off: a shower that drained on the bathroom floor and still a smell coming from the pipes. Those are details we would be willing to overlook if it wasn't for the price of the stay, for which we expect the details to be done right and the comfort to be irreproachable. That wasn't the case.

The bathroom was poorly lit making it difficult to apply even minimal makeup. Only a rain shower not great if you don't want to get your hair wet. The shower door leaks

Location is great - just a short walk to the Palermo Opera House, the Market and other nearby attractions. The breakfast which was included with our rate offered an exceptional array of foods. Great Hotel! Nothing

Location and ability to park our vehicle for 2 nights was great. Within walking distance of many restaurant choices and all the attractions. Easy to enjoy Palermo on foot once you arrive. Hotel front desk staff was attentive and polite. Great sense of humor. Maintenance also had our lighting issue fixed within minutes. Breakfast espressos took a few askings but I think they were understaffed that day. Great selection of breakfast foods to get you on your day.

Fantastic location and very clean room The shower head was not working properly so it was very difficult showering, we did mention during our stay but nothing was done; Breakfast buffet was big with a good variety however everyday was served the same exact food; it was very difficult to get a coffee and for being in Italy the quality of coffee served was very poor; breakfast staff was very unfriendly and not smiling at all; Before arrival we try to communicate with the hotel asking if there was a computer available we could use during our stay, like business center kind of service, no one got back to us; Few items in the mini bar, fresh juices, were expired and no complementary water like any other good hotel was provided on arrival.

Artistic and centrally located. The bathroom door is not easy to open when closed. Not a deterrent but do check it out with someone on the other side (or don’t close it). We had no issue but I can see an elderly lady or a young g child having difficulty to open it.

Beautiful clean property and very friendly staff right in the heart of Palermo!

Nice and lux in some areas. I understand I stayed at an old building but my room smelled like sewer. There was a terrible odor coming out of the sink and shower

We liked that the hotel was near the center and had lots of things to see and do near the hotel. The room had a nice bed and a fridge which was handy for water. The hotel was alright. Unfortunately, the staff was sometimes okay and sometimes quite rude. The breakfast was okay but we felt like there wasn't that much variety and some things were just not very good (like the ice cold eggs and bacon). The bathroom was made of a very ugly material that looked dirty all the time, they needed to renovate that. The valet parking is super uncomfortable, you have to ask for it at reception and make sure you know exactly at what moment you need the car, it's unrealistic. We got only one pillow.... One... I sleep with two at my house... I usually get 2 or 3 in hotels. There was no coffee maker or complimentary bottles of water in the room. We just felt like it was not a good value for the money paid.

Good location near Massimo theatre. Big room with tall ceilings. Felt very new and modern. Elevator in the building.
-
The hotel has four floors, however the higher floor is in the attic of the building which means i) there is no elevator and ii) all the rooms are essentially half size as the ceilings are low and in diagonal, plus it's very hot as the roof gets all the heat and there is no proper isolation. Now, if the hotel would inform when you book that you may not be in floors 1, 2 or 3, but rather in floor 4, well, in that case you could consider it, specially if the price is lower. However, in this case, the property doesn't show any different type of room in relation to the floor, and so we ended up paying full price for a room that was not worth it. The worst? The property said that it's the fault of Booking.com, which I don't think so, as there are multiple examples of hotels that show different type of rooms depending on the specific location.

Good location close to city center and restaurants, clean The room had no windows except a narrow one in the ceiling so the room was very dark and almost claustrophobic. As this was not mentioned in the description on this platform I was very disappointed for the price of the room. The personal was not helpful at all in this situation.
