We had a room with a private bathroom, and breakfast was included in the price. The room was comfortable and the bathroom had a small balcony with a phenomenal view of the city. The hosts are friendly, helpful but unobtrusive. The accommodation is in an excellent location, all important locations can be reached within easy walking distance. The whole apartment has a charming spirit of the past and is not for those who expect modern furniture.

Location was great and the staff was resourceful. Breakfast was really small, door was hard to lock and shower had some problems. The problem was solved fast. The wifi code wasn’t written right on the paper. The 1 was an I (if I remember well)

Good location. Lots of character as rooms were in an old mansion. Host friendly. Clean comfortable room. Host unreliable. We agreed to have breakfast at 8:30 but no sign of host. We left at 8:50 and had to buy breakfast outside. When we returned to pick up our bags there was no sign of the host and no breakfast or note left for us. The distance from the room to the bathroom was rather far.

This is a very different type of property, in a good way. It is very close to Piazza Bellini, and within walking distance from the main attractions. There is a Lidl supermarket literally across the street. Located on Via Roma, I felt safe to return in the evening. It is an old apartment, furnished with old and beautiful furniture. Personally, I loved it - so different from regular "hotel" rooms. It reminded me of my great aunt's house, so if you love the charm of days gone by, you'll enjoy this place. The bed was very comfortable, with real down pillows, the bathroom is extra large. Signor Stefano was very kind and responsive, he speaks good English. The morning coffee was great, with tasty croissants. The only uncomfortable thing were the bedroom windows, which did not close properly. Via Roma is a main street, and it was quite noisy late in the evening, until +/- 12.30.

This was the best BnB that we have been to!!! We loved the atmosphere of the authentic vintage and artistic interior and exterior design, the location and the hosts- Rosella, her amazing son Stephano and their cute cat. We are so incredibly thankful to Stephano for being so kind and friendly, his interesting stories and lovely breakfast. We felt like living in a different century or in a movie set.

A room with private bathroom in a beautiful flat near the central station. Rosella was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation is very impressive, with high ceilings and interesting architectural features. The building is also notable with a beautiful art nouveau entryway. Super well located and wonderful views on top of it all.

Very good location, close to the central train station and the city center. Clean room, AC working perfectly, comfortable beds and good little breakfast included. Incredibly kind hostess, she spoke perfect French and was very nice during our stay.

I loved the eclectic decoration from an older time which fit the building and the rooms. It was a few minutes walk from the train station and located close to lots of places to eat and a short walk from the historical center. The host didn’t speak much English but we were able to communicate the basics. Nothing to comment. All good.

Bed linen was white, clean & crisp with lace edging A simple breakfast was included of which presentation was done with class & style which although didn't alter the flavour of the food etc. it did enhanced it. The entrance door to the building was lovely. Extremely noisy traffic as overlooking Via Roma. Towels had certainly seen better days - old & very tired. Bed mattress was somewhat lumpy. Bathroom was through the entrance hall & along a passageway, ie not ensuite. & some distance away. As the building is old the bedroom door would not lock even when in the locked position, ie it was impossible to lock, meaning anyone could enter my room whether I was there or not.. This was somewhat worrying however fortunately I only stayed 1 night.

really good location, city centre, close to monuments and places of interest. Walking distance from main train and bus station. The appartment has its charm, a piece of history, original furniture, old historical house. The owner is helpful and nice lady. One of 3 beds was very soft, uncomfortable. We couldn´t stay without air-conditioning, neither during the night with windows opened because of mosquitos and noise of garbage cars operating very early in the morning (2 o´clock)

Beautifully decorated home, very friendly host, complimentary breakfast was wonderful and served personally in the dining room. View out the balcony was great and the location was close to Palermo Centrale. Via Roma can be a bit noisy at night time with plenty of traffic.

The place was a time capsule in Palermo. I wish I find a similar experience in every place I visit, wherever. The place is not for everyone, though relatable low prices attract many, but not everyone would like this very special place. I stayed at Palazzo Viola in Palermo, on my my previous visit, it was beautiful too, but lacked the personal touch as Rosella Bianchi. Owners are adorable. Breakfast you can make richer buying yourself fresh pastries on a short walk in the mornings. You feel as a traveler in the apartment, not as a tourist. I would not change anything, not buy anything new. It's a perfect as it is. I liked also that almost the whole apartment is in your use, you are not closed in one room like in many places. Just sit on the sofa in the dark in a big room and imagine how was it a few decades ago. I would like to come back in the winter for a deeper immerse in a vita palermitana. Shabbier Palermo, the more I love it. Don't change anything!
