Nothing at all. The bed was covered with very old sheets, the second bed was not covered at all. The TV had a dirty screen. There was no plates or even glasses or cups in the room. The fridge was not in the room: only a shared fridge for many rooms. The air conditioner was not working (due to some electricity problem) and the property tried to avoid compensation for that (check other reviews about the air conditioning by the way). The so-called 10-00 cleaning never occurred withing many nights of stay, the trash bin has never been emptied, they only brought a roll of toilet paper after 3 or 4 nights. The view from the balcony is to the noisy street with loud cars even at night. The sound isolation is very poor so you can hear neighbors. The shared bathroom was not clean and was very old. The so-called private bathroom is just another bathroom near the shared ones, so seems like some photos might be fake.

A good stay for a night in Palermo, close to city centre.

The location was pretty good.and there is AC. Facts: the host was flexible for me to give me instructions about self check in because I wabted to cancel the booking because only after I booked he told me there was an extra 20 euro for late check in. The day after I paid with credit and a second before I put the credit on the machine I saw an extra 6 euro from what was in booking, when I asked he answered something in italian I do not understand and fixed the price to the one written in booking. BE AWARE. After that, he asked me for an 2.5 euro for the transaction fee.... Cigarettes smell: the room, the hallway, the bathroom, everything completely reeks out of cigarettes smell, I am sensitive to that and it kind of ruined my experience from the stay. The shower is really bad, dripping hot water at a low slow and weak rate, and affected deeply when someone else showers simultaneously with you. Cannot recommend.

Comfortable bed and clean bed linen. There is an air conditioner in the room, but it does not work. Instead, there is a fan, which is terribly noisy and does not save from the sweltering heat. It is impossible to be with the window closed, there is nothing to breathe, with the window open it is impossible to sleep, the street is very noisy. Sleepless nights are guaranteed. The hallway and showers/toilets are completely unventilated, there is nothing to breathe, mold in the showers.

The hosts were friendly. Being from England not every in sicily speaks English but they always try their best and use Google translate ect. The bedroom was clean. Overall it was an okay stay. The location. It was very noisey outside throughout the night so if your a light sleeper I wouldn't recommend as the sound travels. Also the bathroom is a shared bathroom which we weren't comfortable with but thats just our personal preference. We only stayed for a night so it wasn't too much trouble.

My medicine disappeared from my suitcase .. Stolen no doubt . I had been warned by the comments of a previous guest on Booking that they had their luggage rummaged thru. I still made the mistake of staying here. When I notified the staff I was told that perhaps I misplaced my medication .. Wrong the medicine was stolen. Now you have been warned, stay here at your own risk ..

It is in a very bad area, the neighborhood is very dirty. They don't speak English. I booked a room with a private bathroom, and the guy says to me, "You booked a room with your own bathroom, but the bathroom has already been taken, you can use the communal bathroom." In the meantime, calling Papa, as if Papa was confused and Papa says, I don't discount more than 3 euros. That hostel is a big disappointment. After a few hours, they gave me the key to the commune's bathroom, they said, here is your own bathroom,)))))) come at 9 in the morning, he says Please return the bathroom key. The doors are dirty, general dirty old condition. There are better options in Palermo for that price and less. Don't go there. location is awful. dirty, dengerous, noisy.
