wonderful, caring, helpful hosts, and their beautiful, immaculate, generous attention to every detail in the apartment. all was in perfect condition, throughout the space, and their jar of italian cookies and abundant espresso showered us with delicious care. nothing, it was honestly perfect

Our host was a delight, hospitable, knowledgeable and friendly. The room was renovated and immaculate. We walked to the historic center for dinner many times and went to day trips.

You can’t have a better host. Salvo was very friendly, helpful and informative and did everything to make my stay enjoyable. The room was very comfortable and clean (I love the high beam ceiling) and it’s in a great location. It’s a short walk to Capo market and the city centre, but yet it’s in a neighbourhood with small shops and restaurants off the tourist beaten path.

Cozy apartment and the soundproofing was excellent. We slept better here than any other in Italy in spite of it being in the middle of a bustle city. The bed was super comfortable and the IKEA furnishings were perfect for the space. We had room to stash our suitcases out of the way and hang all our clothes. Parking is always a challenge in any of these busy Italian cities but Salvo was very helpful and drove with me to show me the best spots. It was not a problem after that.

Salvo was very accommodating. The restaurants recommendations were amazing, especially the one for the street food. The property is very well located, you can walk to any attraction, and there was free parking in the street for the car rental, the apartment is outside of the ZTL. It’s a safe area. The apartment I got was on the first floor with balconies so you can hang wet clothes from the beach and they dry very quickly during the summer. They clean your room on the third day of your stay, I stayed 6 nights. The bed was very comfortable. Everything seems connected to wifi (door lock, AC, outdoor cameras, etc). I liked everything. Just to clarify, the laundry is a service with a cost of €15 including washing, drying, and detergent. You can do it by yourself in a laundry area or Salvo can take care of it. It takes around 4-5 hours to get the service completed and cannot be done late at night because the noise may disturb other apartments. In another case you could look for laundry services, I found a couple of them opened until 11 pm. At the end, Salvo took care of it the last day of my stay since I returned earlier from the beach and everything was great. For some reason, I felt the AC sometimes was set up differently of what I had chosen. The last night I had a hard time to sleep well because the room was a little warm. Those days Palermo were very hot (some days over 100F) so not sure if that was the issue or if the setting was changed to a different one while I was out of the apartment. One night, when I arrived the setting was in a dry mode instead of cool, so maybe there is an automatic setting to save energy. You could check with Salvo about this when you book, he is very accommodating as I said before.

Very clean and everything is brand new. Nice place to stay. The owner of the property is very nice and helpful. Very close to the downtown. Highly recommend Nothing to say

The room is so much better than the photos, the bed is huge and very comfortable. Everything has been renovated and you can tell a lot of thought went into it. There is street parking available just outside the building and we never had trouble finding a spot. The room was very spacious, clean and well decorated. Salvo was so nice and helpful, he even put some wine to our room - and it was delicious. I'd recommend this place with my eyes closed every time!

This property exceeded my expectations. It’s in a fantastic location—ideal for exploring—and the room was spotless, well-furnished, and very comfortable. What truly stood out was the host, Salvo. He was incredibly welcoming and attentive, embodying the best of genuine Sicilian hospitality. I felt right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area—an absolute gem! That I couldn’t stay longer—my vacation had to end!

The apartment was quiet, cosy and well appointed. It was within walking distance of all the central parts of the city, including the cathedral and Via Vittorio Emanuele. Even though we were only staying one night Salvo couldn't have been more hospitable, going out of his way to welcome us, assist with parking ( never straightforward in Palermo) and providing local tips including restaurant recommendations! Nothing comes to mind

Walking distance from every major attraction. Safe area with shops and caffes. Breakfast served in a nearby caffe.

Salvo was extremely friendly and helpful, gave us some wonderful local recommendations for restaurants, etc.

Host is awesome and communicates well. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Cute little balcony onto the mad road outside for entertainment. Provided us towels and umbrella for the beach trip. Great AC. Nothing to dislike. It’s a city centre apartment room. Cute functional small place that’s clean and modern. Parking is a typical city centre issue. But possible to get spaces outside if patient. We did every day.

Absolutely a wonderful and recommended place to stay! The rooms are spacious, lovely decorated and perfectly clean. The rooms have balconies and the windows cancel noise perfectly (I stayed in 2 different rooms so I can tell). The residence is located about 5 minutes walk from Teatro Massimo, so it is pretty close to everything. Cafes with great food 1 minute walk from the residence (by Salvo's advice, see below), and many shops as well. Salvo (Salvatore) the host is extremely nice and welcoming, has a very good english, and would happily help in anything. Beyond being a great guy, he recommends great local places to eat that are not written in the books, so don't hesitate to ask him! An underground parking lot is located 50 meters away, for 13 euro/day. Nothing, all was great.

I had a great time staying at Olivuzza 27. Salvo was very helpful and communicative, arranging a taxi to pick me up from the train station when I arrived late to Palermo. The room was very comfortable and felt luxurious. There was even a little balcony with a table and chairs that was great for people watching with a coffee (coffee machine in room) or a beer from the convenience store across the street. The location is very convenient to the town center and the historic district. It's about a 15 minute walk to the cathedral and the puppet theater and about a fifteen minute walk to the train that will take you to the airport.

The apartment was super nice, clean and cosy. The host very service minded and helpful. Unfortunately, we were unlucky and experienced loud noise from people outside even with windows closed.
