BelleVue Oasis-Palm Springs - Adults Only

First of all a big shout out to Christie. She’s running 2 properties by herself and no housekeeping or maintenance when we arrived on 7/31. Check in was easy with her, we got “upgraded” to a kitchenette, also no dish soap to wash our mugs. The “King” bed was 2 full size mattresses pushed together, the room had a musty smell, scuff marks all along the walls. The only amazing thing about the room was the ac and the shower. The water temperature was hit and miss in the shower. The pool could’ve been cooler it was warm bath water. Wasn’t terrible but not the greatest when it’s 118 out.

- The signage out front suffered decades of sun damage and should have been replaced long ago. There's your first clue. - The sofa in my room was stained with body fluids and needs a deep cleaning or a replacement. - The window blind was broken and wouldn't go all the way up, blocking the pool view. - The quartz tile floors are slick and treacherously slippery if damp. - While the staff is generally well intentioned, the check-in process is disturbingly difficult. They charge a $22 resort fee for a 1960's motor court motel and the form for prepaying that is difficult and disturbing. They demand a photo showing your face and your driver's licence be uploaded, and you MUST give them your credit card information on a form with no references to how much they'll be charging, or when the security deposit will be refunded. (I was assured this process is being improved.) - There was supposed to be a person on property until 4pm, however there was nobody on property to check me in at 3pm and that was a rediculously complicated process. My check-in process was 72 minutes of chaos, in humid 126 degree temperatures. Management assured they're working on updates and maintenance, but this boutique property has seen better decades. The owners and staff think this property is way more precious and desirable than any guest would. Palm Springs offers much better and easier options in this price range.

One staff member was very nice. Pool was clean. AC was not working and ice machine was not working. Took 4 hours to get a tiny bag of ice and AC was never fixed. Ceiling fan did not work and a small portable fan was used.

Did not like my stay there

Clean property. It was not busy when we stayed and we barely saw any staff.

This was my second time on the property, I remember it being a really great property. This time not so much, however, on the plus side the room was really clean and we were the only ones on the property. Now the facility just not maintained as well as it used to be the pool was dirty, the hot tub would not warm up and all the lounging chairs were broken. Again the last time I was there everything was perfect, but ice machine was broken and just a lack of care for the pool area. Sad to see such a nice property not live up to its potential. Also I just feel when there is no one else on property might want to let travelers check in a little early. They were very strict on check in and not having anyone on site was a little strange.

Still waiting on my security deposit. Most hotels you receive in a day or so.. it’s been quite some time!

Difficult check in. So difficult that I was not able to do so. Asked for refund.

Nice rooms but only two lounge chairs by the pool that were in very poor condition. Hot tub was not working either.

Very quiet. Cute space and close to everything. There were things broken and fixed w tape. One of Our bed legs snapped while sleeping. Also only two towels giving for two nights.

Missing electrical covers for outlets, remote batteries was dead

Highly recommend! Very clean room, price friendly , and plenty of parking. Make sure to call in because it might be a little confusing to check-in if they don’t send you the email. I would definitely stay here again!

The room had garden cockroaches and the had a lot of leaves and the lock of the door room did not work properly and the bed was to hard

Our room flooded. The toilet stoped working. Still waiting for my refund. And I don’t remember the booking telling me it’s a virtual checkin. Very strange:

I love this quiet ,private retreat!

Hot tub has a great view of the mountains. Bed was hard and stiff. Soap dispenser hardly works. No soap for bathroom sink.and dirty couch. The bathroom had only 2 towels and no washcloths.
