Riviera Resort Palm Springs

When we arrived to our reserved pool front room we were today our pool was closed due to a private party. We paid a lot of money for poolside room but could not enjoy the room. We couldn't even open our blinds due to the party at the pool- their music was loud and crowd was drunk

Great pool, big rooms, comfy beds Under staffed, slow service, very limited menu and hours for pool service, never got my room cleaned because they were short staffed

Run down, dirty and honestly very disappointing

Staff didn’t send me an email in advance to let me know restaurants were closed and there was no bartenders on site at the pool. Upon checkout, I was told it had to do with the hotel closing.

The staff was helpful There was no cold water. Besides that, we werent able to use no other Amentities like the spa, Stores, reastaurants cafe etc. If i wouldve known before Arriving there that everything was basically unavailable I would've Cancelled my stay instead of driving 2 hours away

My stay was awesome!! Clean room. Nice property. Beautiful pool area. Looking forward to coming back once the renovations are completed.

They didn’t tell us the pool was completely closed for the day and that there was a private party that was anything but kid friendly…. It was a nice room but we really didn’t get to enjoy it with the party noise. We are not old squares! We came to relaxed by the pool. That was our intention for renting

Honestly staff was good, property was shutting down for a remodel so I get it but! They did not disclose a there was a $35 destination fee per day, last I checked in California that violates SB 478 about hidden fees, finally when I receive my receipt it doesn’t state how much I paid? Originally this was booked for $638 and some change and on arrival I paid an additional $300.00 for what? A deposit? Front desk didn’t state that, my receipt shows no balance paid? I don’t understand.

The hotel staff was lovely.

Good resort

Spa was great but booked this resort for the steam room which was unfortunately down . Also called a few times for some house keeping items took a few calls but eventually got the items . Resort was nice would stay again .

We were also told our destination fee would be refunded because of the inconvenience, but after more than a week nothing had been processed. I had to call and follow up myself before the refund was finally issued. The only positive part of the experience was that the front desk staff were polite.

Place was convenient to restaurants/bars in the Palm Springs area. Parking was not great especially if you came back after 10pm. Lots of people in the pool - kind of dirty. It was great that they had 2 additional pools separate which was good for kids.

I really love this iconic hotel. So happy to see they’re getting rid of all traces of Margaritaville. Please never change the Riviera again. I need this hotel in my life.

I found a roach in my bathroom

The room was very spacious, I got a suite with living room. It was clean and comfortable. My son and I went for relaxation mainly, and enjoy the pool. There are 2 pools, but one of the days the main pool was closed for a paying event. The second pool had barely any staff walking by, and we couldn’t get any pool towels for a very long time. The next day was the same problem, the Oasis pool had no supervision/staff around (a couple of staff walked by but after a very long time) and it was really hard to get towels again.
