This place is great and with the 21 and over upgrade it is well worth it for the private pool and free drinks! What I would change is the fact that the staff needed better communication on what time events happen and stop. Also to not close the bar at 10pm. That was very disappointing. Other than that everything was wonderful will definitely be back!

Wouldn't stay anywhere else, for free

Our stay at the Thompson was phenomenal. This is probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, hands down. The pool was amazing, food delicious, comfortable quiet room. I slept so well. HUGE hot shower. Valet was fast and efficient. The property is steps away from great restaurants and the Thursday Street Fair. We loved staying downtown where the action is. We will definitely stay again!

We were charged for a bunch of things we didn’t use as well as double charged for resort fees. The prices are definitely steep and they were understaffed. The pools are small and were cloudy. The sound proofing is also poor. The staff was nice and the room was clean.

Exceptional

It was a pleasant stay. My only call out was for a hotel being less than 2 yrs old it looked rundown already. Also if they have pool rules they need to I force them! Walking into the pool area and seeing 90% of the chairs with personal belonging and the pool being empty, why pay for resort fees, when you can’t take advantage of them. #Heads-up

Great hotel for couples, friends or even families. Location is prime for DTPS. Although the pool is more adult oriented. They book their pool seating on resort pass which is the only downfall for guests as some of the prime seating gets reserved. There is no benefit of booking a cabana or daybed as a hotel guest. Love the layout of this hotel! The food was amazing! I think the drinks were over priced a bit and their lounge at night needed more staffing, as you waited a long time for drink service. But overall, would stay again!

Great spot, good food & location

The rooms themselves were also great. Our room had a California king bed and it was easily one of the most comfortable hotel beds we've ever slept in. We would definitely come back again!

The design, the winery, the public living room(s) You name it. My room was impeccable There was used dining plates, and things, and tings left strewn in an alley-like path near where I had to walk to get to my room.
