Hotel Keen

Simple, clean accommodations in walking distance to many restaurants and the Stanford campus (specifically the Frost Amphitheater).

The location was great. Free breakfast was simple but a very nice option. The rooms were very compact and the bathroom isn’t completely enclosed. Still great overall value.

No refrigerator in our very small room. Excellent staff and very clean hotel. Excellent location. You need to pay for a $25 a day parking pass for the public garage directly across the street..

Nobody explained the parking garage was closed until 7:00 am. I missed a very important doctor appointment at Stanford and had to reschedule. I thought the parking permit was how they checked the vehicle to park there... could not get a cab as the front desk had no services they could call.

Hotel Keen was just right for our visit to tour Stanford. Incredible location, clean, and friendly staff.

This is truly just a “place to sleep” kind of hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was meh, but it wasn’t really why I stayed there anyways. One very important thing to note for light sleepers - request a room on the top floor. I was on the first floor and it felt like I was in an apartment listening to every step my upstairs neighbor was taking. The location was great. Rooms were small - perfect for solo travelers. One thing that I thought was a little weird was that the bathroom ie in an open space right by the front door. So it was always a little weird using the bathroom wondering if people in the hallway could hear me.

The location was great! Absolutely the most smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. So small there was no door into the bathroom. I have travelled to Japan and over 30 countries but this was ridiculous as you can see they are just trying to capture every cent.

Pretty good time overall. Rooms were small but given its stanford graduation and we didn’t want to spend like 800 bucks a night, Twas a good option.
