Chateau Beachfront Hotel, A By The Sea Resort

The room had ants and roaches everywhere an they wouldn't change my room. Woke up this morning and roaches was in the refrigerator on stove top and sink. I went to Walmart and brought raid. I will nerver stay anywhere by there im reporting them to better business

The room was clean, You had to buy the ice/ no machine.. The staff was nice. For a low budget, older I building , we had fun.

Check in process was awful. After driving 12 hours we had to sit in the lobby forever waiting to get checked in, there was only one employee trying to assist about 6 guests at once and she kept going back and forth doing multiple things. The room itself was outdated and the bathtub was falling apart. We had to ask 3-4 times to get some more towels. The front desk is so backed up we just got put on hold back to back. We went and bought our own toilet paper because we couldn’t get more than one roll. They also ran out of washcloths. There was already sand in the bed when we got there, which I get we’re super close to the beach there’s sand everywhere, but we didn’t even go to beach the first night and it was everywhere. The view was amazing and we were just steps from the beach. The pool was nice and they had music and karaoke so it was a good time. Would be nice to have an elevator as well but we knew that before checking In, just didn’t realize how many stairs we would be walking up and down with all the luggage. Overall if you are wanting a great location beachside, it would be great. Anything else, not so much.

Our view was awesome that’s why we keep coming back. I look forward to continued improvements. We saw more corporate people around this time. New pool loungers and umbrellas were nice too. Our unit wasn’t very clean when we arrived and the air conditioner struggled all week. The fridge was not in the kitchenette and the tv wasn’t center to the 2 queen beds. One queen bed had to look over the fridge to see tv.

Easy access to beach. Although no elevators, the stairs weren't bad. Chess, checkers and volleyball net for activities. Karaoke was nice as well.

No elevator! I thought I was doing good getting a lower floor but there are 2 sets of stairs to get to 1st floor. There is 1 ramp for the first part but its not very wide. Fridge went put first night and the only option was to move tp 3rd floor. We couldnt wake up 3 kids or lose $100 worth of groceries so we fl

The door of the bathroom of the room 208 was broken and couldn’t close, the toilet, if you sat on it, it felt like it was going to break, and the door, but pool was very good, and the beach was very clean. 2 and a half stars.

Very nice penthouse room, no lighting in pool so closes early. Pool and beach access only amenities really used.

Location excellent! Staff super helpful and friendly. Everything clean, but dated. Stairs are a safety hazard in the rain. They need to be covered at best, maybe treads put down at least. Bathtub is way too sloped and narrow to be safe.

Being right on the beach was great! The beds was not comfortable and the bathroom needs updating!

I had a terrible experience

We did have a small situation with our room first night, but they moved us due to maintenance would be a little while to get to it. They were so nice and friendly, clean and quiet.

It just wasn’t what I expected..

Rooms needed better cleaning and the cigarette ashes on the balcony needed cleaned up but other than that it was great.
