Holiday Terrace By The Sea

We arrived to find it closed and didn’t get the notification our hotel changed until the day we were leaving.

Hotel closing for renovations. Service was not good. Check in at another hotel.

Rooms were big and every room had a beach view, it was right on the beach. They were fixing the lobby so you had to go next door and the evening guy was terribly rude. The one elevator went really slow but worked. Bring your own beach chairs as the ones on the beach cost $40 a day to rent. It had A/C and was definitely not a new hotel but for the price being on the beach I might stay again.

They are remodeling so there was a lot of construction noise and it was not too clean at all but I’m not picky so overall it was good

Everything looked old and outdated. Pillowcases had brown spots all inside on the pillow. The cops were called on the people next to us for being so loud. It constantly smelled of weed. We had two rooms but they weren't together. This was very inconvenient for people with little kids.

The location and views are excellent. Cleanliness was lacking. There was visible hairs present on counters and floors. The curtains on the window was not sufficient in keeping light out. The lobby was inaccessible. Only one elevator was working. The front patio was in disarray and marked off with caution tape. The room didn't have wash cloths.

Kitchen setup good. Clean room. AC good.

Room was filthy, curtains were ripped, bath and shower disgusting, ask several times at front desk for a Manager phone number which I was denied. Resort fees are a joke, pool dirty. No towels, dust was so thick you could blow it off furniture. Worst place we have ever stayed in 50 years!

Front door was messed up had a hole in it. You could hear the wind blowing through kitchenette needs to be updated really bad back door was messed up also very hard to close and most of the times it wouldn’t stay closed people all around us were smoking I got charged For smoking in my room and I don’t smoke and still fighting to try to get my money back.

The elevator is constantly not working. The lights in hallway and noise from ice machine forbid you to get sleep. The sheets, bedding and towels are very outdated. You’re not able to enjoy the back patio because there’s constant smoke and weed smells from other balconies. The outside shower to the beach is beyond old and needs to be replaced. It seems like no one is cleaning up the property at all. I stayed for two days and the same trash and dead bugs all around the property were never removed. When it rains the whole upstairs hallways gets flooded and no one manages it. The free coffee and parking was nice.

Yes we had an ocean view, on beach. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Will definitely be interested in booking here again.
