The location was excellent with the subway just down the street giving access to anywhere in Paris. They also offer to do laundry free of charge, when possible. The area is very residential and out of the main tourist areas which we appreciated. However some sites were within walking distance. With the heatwave, providing water was very welcome. All we had to do was refill our water bottles before setting out. They also offer welcome drinks every late afternoon but we did not take advantage of it. The staff was very helpful when we needed help or advice. We were unable to take a shower without water spilling out of the tub unto the floor. A shower stall would have been better. The laundry offer was very welcome, but unfortunately for me the detergent used was very scented and I had to rewash everything as soon as we were back home, because of sensitivity to scented products. I forgot to mention it when dropping our laundry, because I could have provided my own detergent..

So helpful and always so kind The hotel is away from the touristy area, which was the best part. Easy access all over the city via the meter right by hotel I strongly recommend this hotel. The hospitality was exceptional! Just wish hotel prices were more afordable in Paris.

Gem of a hotel in the corner, on the lovely Boulevard Voltaire, next to a lovely neighbourhood park, with all amenities nearby ,close to many restaurants, 100mtrs from Metro (Rue des Boulets ) & a 5 min walk to Place de La nation ! Genial & helpful staff -especially Zyad & Lazis .Great breakfast .....

The staff—the very best you’ll ever find. Anywhere. I wish they would make a chain out of GHF—worldwide!

What’s not to like? How about the brilliant cinephilic night clerk who brings a charcuterie plate up to your room at 2 am? “James Bond,” the brilliant guy who both serves up a magnificent breakfast buffet and does your clothes perfectly? How about the balconies overlooking the gorgeous rooftops of the 11th? This is the best hotel on earth. There isn’t one in every cool city on earth.

It is glorious. Cozy, safe, warm and delightfully full of conveniences. There is not an equivalent in every city of the world.
-
The location is great and very convenient. .The hotel facilities are outdated and do not match most of the descriptions, resulting in a strong sense of disappointment.

Not aware of a problem

1)The location was very convenient 2) 1 minute's walking to the subway station, no need to spend more money on Uber or other Taxis. well located near everything. It was too expensive, and also there was another fee i did not aware of until last minutes of the check out. I did not know how to use the shower, if i had to used it properly the floor could have been flooded. The room was really small. But it was clean. i like the towels i used in the shower room, they smell nice.

Everything. I worship this place, so at this point I can’t even pretend to be objective! Rien

Nothing

honestly not much since I knew what I was getting into. It is a bit far from the touristy stuff, but you can get them by metro within 15-20 min.
-
Front desk staff were brusque. I will leave it there. Maybe it's just typical for Paris.
-
It's very convenient. The hotel faces Voltaire but our room was surprisingly quiet even with traffic. The staff are very friendly. The environment is very accommodating. We will stay again. The room was very small

Communication

Room space is tight but workable. Hard to find a place to hang towels so we had to throw them over the TV and the bathroom door. Lastly, the city tax wasn't included in the booking price. This was an unpleasant surprise.
