Hotel Albert 1er Paris Lafayette

Location They decided, first thing in the morning, to rip out the carpet in the hallway next to my room. I wad given no notice. No apology or compensation of any sorts.

Good location for Gare de Nord

The hotel is in a great location to travel from the Gare du Nord.. it is less than 5 minutes walk from the station. It was spotlessly clean and the reception team were great, very kind and helpful. They have a secure baggage room so you can leave your luggage and spend some more time exploring Paris if you are getting a later train. The bed was very comfortable, with good quality bed linen. We would definitely stay again. Our room was a bit small but perfectly adequate as we spent very little time in it.. too busy exploring the city.

The hotel location was perfect to get the feel of Paris. Lots of cafes, shops and food takeaway within walking distance The hotel was very easy to find when getting off the EuroStar. Lift and spiral staircase to 6 floors. The breakfast was ample, with a good choice of cereals, pastries, meats and cheeses. Tea and coffee and juices. Tea making facilities in our room. Clean towels each day and beds made. The staff where always pleasant and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage at the recpetion after checkout until time to leave Paris. Room was quiet small and the bathroom looked dated..but very French and clean.

Very close to Gare du Nord Air conditioning worked well in my room. This was essential as Paris was hot during my stay. I was also provided with a fan There should be two pillows as standard per person. The bathroom was a little cramped. Shower curtain was not always effective and was not nice to touch.

The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly Aand nice air conditioning The room was smaller and older than it appeared in the photos. The elevator was very small, and it wasn’t always possible to use it. We were on the sixth floor, so getting up and down was sometimes difficult. The hotel’s location was very close to the station, which was convenient. However, considering the busy surroundings, the number of loiterers in the area, and the small size of the hotel, I think the price should have been more reasonable.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfy Stairs are awful and the lift isn’t the best it is an old hotel so keep that in mind. Our room was on the top floor and the room felt like it wasn’t inside the building. The shower is weak and very temperamental with spontaneously changing hot to cold.

Great location Friendly staff Description shows a bathtub but not there actually. Elevator couldn't be used when going down. No toilet holder, No required amenities in the room. Lavatory was clogged and so slow water flow

location - It was very close to the train station and eurostar. The room was average - i did have a nice view. The lift is very small.

Nicely decorated, spacious room with Nespresso machine and biscuits. Central location. Loud , sweary drunks outside all night.
