It is a sweet place--the breakfast is nice and the staff is great. The rooms are pretty spare and there were no drawers--just weird shelves. I could not put my stuff away or get organized at all. That was actually awful. I have never stayed in a hotel room that did not have a bureau or a chest of drawers or anything. Just these strange stylized shelves that were supposed to be Zen or something. IKEA comes to mind. The couch in my suite was very old--like something out of a 1980s minimalistic vision--and everything beige. The rooms are just not great. The AC is minimal somehow. The outside area is in a community courtyard so you have to be quiet. Glazing on the wiindows was helpful. the shower pressure was excellent. The hairdryer was good. The bed was comfortable enough. I just really didn't like the room at all. 1980 Hostel vibes.

Staff were very friendly, the hotel was in a good location - central in Montmarte, and everything was clean. Nice view from rooms, reception had water dispenser and options to buy other drinks and snacks. Everything you needed in the rooms and in the hotel. Bathroom was a little small, but it was clean so not really a problem.

Great value for money in a lovely area of Paris with the Sacre Coeur just up the hill, loads of lovely cafes and shops nearby, and a truly Parisian experience. Rooms were minimalist and clean but small, beds were comfy, staff was super-friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again! Shower was incredibly small, even for Paris.
