The receptionists were very attentive and kind and we had nice chats with them. When we arrived, the receptionist gave us great tips for restaurants in the area. The room was tiny, very small for two people. There was no fridge. There is quite a bit of noise from the street as there are many bars in the area, so I recommend staying at one of the upper floors.

Brilliant location in a busy area near the Bastille. We walked from here to Notre Dame (about 25 minutes) to pick up Big Bus tours (highly recommended for a tour of Paris). There is 24 hour access and always someone cheerful and welcoming at the door. Loads of bars and restaurants and an amazing patisserie a couple of doors down. Air con was a must in the heat as it is noisy at night but the double glazing kept the noise out. The room is small but functional - we were out all day every day so we weren’t too bothered about the room size. It was just a place to sleep and wash. Didn’t like the tiny lift so chose to walk to the fourth floor each time which was a bit of a task after walking around Paris all day. That was our preference though.

Comfortable, well-lit room with air conditioning, a must in the sweltering heat this summer. No elevator, one of the smallest rooms I've ever been in, but comfortable.

Hotel is situated very well, Bastille subway is just a stone throw away. Rooms are clean and simple, very polite service and good simple breakfast that carries you through first part of days in Paris.

The location was perfect, walking distance to Gare de Lyon and a few mins walk to the Bastille Metro. The hotel is surrounding by restaurants catering to all budgets! The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable (I slept soundly). Grateful for the air conditioning while Paris was experiencing the heatwave!

It was located . Our room was small and bed was pushed into a corner, not very practical to get in and out of bed. The lightings were confusing , one would think it, furniture was pushed into haphazardly. Cleaning staff needs more supervision.

It's close proximity to public transport the staff were friendly and helpful. No complaints.

Proximity to several metro stations and choice of bus routes. Lively area but not on main tourist route. Couteous staff. Quiet at night. Adequate breakfast. Room was quite small

Location close to Gare de Lyon . We used this for one night stop one train journey Spain to UK. It was clean and comfortable and everything worked

I loved the man "black" that received us the first day. Thursday 15th of may. I did not like the attityde of the man that worked on the hotel most days.
