Please install air conditioning in the rooms. With high temperatures the rooms are like hell. Also wi-fi would be appreciated

Special old neighborhood lodging on famous street in Bastille area. basic but very clean. Could use an extra electrical outlet per room and be prepared to lug your stuff up the narrow winding stairs to your room. Great atmospheric historic bistro on ground floor serving simple old-school French and North African dishes extremely popular with young artistic crowd. Not for a quiet getaway as very popular night life scene on Rue de Lappe but nice to wake to to the sound of birds and tennis being played if you request a back room.

The bathroom hadn't been cleaned well, a bit of the railing came off as I placed my towel on it, but overall I can't say I'm disappointed

If you are sensitive to sound, do not stay here. If you like to enjoy nightlife, it is the place to be. Facility could use some renovation, especially the bathroom

Entrance is the same as the bistrot, super tight when full, very inconvenient when you are traveling with a big luggage. No elevator, no help given by staff, room is literally the size of the bed.

Nice room. Nice bistro downstairs. Great location! Staff went above and beyond.

The location is fantastic, lots of cool restaurants, cafes, bars, and shoppping. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The bistro downstairs had great food and reasonably priced drinks. The room was very small so it was difficult to manage suitcases. The room was about 10 degrees hotter than outside, even with the windows open. There was no air conditioning or fan. Because of the heat, we had to keep the windows open, and the street has people partying on it usually until around 2am. On Saturday night it went until 4am. Noise travels very well in the hotel as well so you can hear your neighbours. No counter or shelf space in bathroom or shower. Shower was tiny, kept turning off the tap with my butt! There was only one electrical outlet in the room and it wasn’t in the bathroom, so my wife had a hard time doing her hair.

Very accessible for the metro. Enjoyed being in the middle of Paris. Felt very looked after by the staff, but not crowded. It was as I expected, although the facilities and area shows it age until five oclock when it comes to life.

Location is excellent and it was very good value for money. Staff are extremely kind and welcoming. This is not a fault of the hotel as it is like this everywhere in old buildings in Paris: the walls are very thin and the hotel is on a lively street with many bars and restaurants (great for going out) I recommend you bring some earplugs and you will be absolutely fine. Again, this is not the fault of the hotel I just wanted to give other travelers some advice.

Excelent location. Pillows were too hard. The noise from the street during the night was awful. We couldn’t sleep. Noise isolation of the room is very bad. No refilling of shampoo and soap.

Excellent. Just noisy at night.

Value for money the ridiculously small size of the shower the noice in the street until 4am.

Disappointing
-
there was no reception or front desk, i had to go inside a bar to get room key, also the room was on the 3rd floor, and no alleviator, i had to drag my bags all the way up, the room was too small no view and the worse thing was i can hear everyone drinking and speaking loud at the bar, the room was on top of the bar, it was holiday from hell, i will not recommend anyone to go there. you get internet from the bar if they close the bar then there is no internet, everything, i did not like anything about this place no food no drink nothing there, there is no food to eat, i left the place in the morning and went to another place, the pictures are not the same at all.

Location Bit noisy at night outside.
-
Loud in room due to location, was expected and we knew what we were getting into but was louder than anticipated but the good price is reflective of this. Pace is a good price for a good a good location. Cleaning staff moved our items and turned heat to maximum each night. Even though we left notes for them to leave room alone and not turn heat on.
