The staff were extremely nice, polite, and helpful — definitely a 10/10 in that regard. The rooms were clean and relatively well-equipped. Overall, a nice and comfortable place for a short stay. The only downside is that the rooms lack air conditioning. During the summer, especially since the rooms are quite small, it can get very stuffy and uncomfortably hot. :(

The rate was excellent, very good value for money. The room was clean and there was cleaning service available everyday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They allowed me an early check-in and late check-out for a small amount. Location is great, I always find Place d’Italie as very convenient: comfortably close to nice places and at the same time calm, safe and accessible. The room was very small, that you can’t even move in it, it felt that there is no space for my luggage even. It felt a bit of an old hotel, not renovated (especially the bathroom). Some of the classic facilities for a hotel room were not there: mini refrigerator, steamer, coffee machine. It felt overall a bit overrated compared to the score it has on Booking and even on Google Maps. I stayed there 8 nights, but I wouldn’t recommend it for long stays like this, perhaps for shorter stays only.

Close to the metro. Pretty quiet street even on July 13th-14th. Staff was very nice and accommodating No AC. Room very small. Due to heat wave room was really difficult to sleep in. They mention renovation are coming soon.

Convenient stop off location for onward travel from Paris Austerlitz.

The staff are super friendly and helpful - in the heatwave they gave us plenty of ice cubes for our bottles and one evening a bag of ice to help cool us down as there is no air con. The only downside is if you are tall the toilet is quite close to the shower but it’s not a huge issue for most people.
