Hotel Jardin Des Plantes

The location was excellent. The rooms were very small. Bathrooms were uncomfortable.

The location and staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very small, but that is typical for Paris. This is personal opinion but the TV had limited channels that were completely in French(no satellite/streaming). No amenities.

The air conditioning was essential and worked pretty well, considering the heat wave we encountered. The hotel is on a quiet street, right across from an entrance to the Jardin des Plantes which would be great location if the heat made picnicking attractive at all -- as it was we preferred our a/c. Small room for the price, but this is central Paris! The check in was fine if not very welcoming. I think everyone was just overwhelmed by the heat. Very good breakfast in the basement. The elevator was so tiny that two people and their luggage were too much for it --but we were glad to have it! If there was a rooftop area we were not informed of it. The pictures of it look appealing but we didn't see it.

During the hottest days in Paris A/C was working excellent. Location is great. Staff is good. everything else is mediocre. Size of the place. You have to live from the suitcase. Not a single shelf for closing, just 4 hangers. we were prepared for small rooms in Paris, but this is extreme.

I liked everything but would have liked other bread options for breakfast--a nice country bread or whole grain or baguette. But the fresh fruit was great!

Also the Jardim des Plants Botanic Park, right in front. Is a good place to stay, just to sleep and be able to enjoy the city.

The breakfast selection and presentation were somewhat disappointing relative to the price.

The hotel met our expectations as represented in line. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful. The rooms were quiet and we slept well The elevator was very small but worked for us

The hallways are too narrow, breakfast was OK.

The bed was very comfy, but the room was quite small and not the cleanest. The shower was very dirty. The staff was very unhelpful.

Location Ambiance Staff All was great

Totally clean, functional, excellent front desk staff (Mlle Bibi?, very helpful with iron, loaning us an umbrella..). Walking distance to Paradis Latin. Toilet seat too close to the shower.

The location of the hotel was good and we were able to walk to many attractions and cafes. The room was quite small and dark

We could hear other guests at the door and sometimes through the wall.

The wall can be a bit thin. Overheard a moan, screaming while she was having sex. A bit annoyed since it was early in the morning.

The location could not have been better. It is a very clean, cozy, and quiet small hotel. The breakfast was not really good. Nothing was fresh in the breakfast. The staff entered my room during the day without notifying me and this is not okay.

Needs some upgrades.

Location was awesome. Building is old French style which is what I came for on vacation. Elevator is small but was fine.
