It was clean. The staff is polite and helpfull. Breakfast has to be improved with vegetables, fruit, etc. Also, the breakfast room is very small and uncomfortable, especially early in the morning when it gets crowded.

Quiet street, hotel is very accessible in terms of public transport (metro, buses), very friendly staff, comfortable bed, small but clean and comfortable room. But the real gem was the perfectly working air conditioning, as we stayed at the hotel during the summer heat wave.

The proximity to metro, shops, cafes, restaurants etc. The area is well connected to public transport and fairly safe in my opinion. First time visitors could find it far from city center and main attractions. Very nice breakfast, we enjoyed it a lot and it allowed us to have a good start every day. Good selection of foods, for us it was more than enough. The staff was nice and helpful. Air conditioning functionning only On or Off. You could not modify the temperature, nor the fan power, which made it uncomfortable to use. It ran very cold and loud. The room got very hot in the middle of the night, so I usually woke up, started the air for 15-20 mins risking to wake up the entire room, waiting for the room to get reasonably cool to be able to go back to sleep again. Imagine a 8 night stay in a heatwave in Paris like this... The hotel should change this setup. I think it makes sense for them from a consumption standpoint, but for us as guests was simply ridiculous and made us uncomfortable.

Convenient location, 15 min walk to Gare de Montparnasse. Clean room, good air conditioning. We were assigned a ground-floor room which was affected by noise from the street and the lobby. The beds were fairly hard.

Nice little hotel in a peaceful location but not too far from metro 13 stations. Each room has their own air conditioning unit which are powerful enough even when it is 36 celcius outside - that really makes a difference when everywhere else in the city the air conditioning does not exist or is garbage. So we slept very well during the heat wave. Buffet breakfast is very good considering its price, and available between 6 and 12. Rooms are a bit on the small side but in this city they are for sleeping only so it's ok. Staff was helpful and very friendly. The area has not too many tourists so there is more room to walk in the neighborhood and no street noise. There was no way to adjust the air conditioning. It was either on or off. Early in the morning the room would be too cold, so I would wake being too cold and after getting under the blanket I would soon wake up being too hot. Not a big thing, but this is unusual and requires to be mentioned. While it was nice that there were no too many tourists, the immediate neighborhood is not really what people dream about when they think about Paris. Not bad, but you want to go somewhere else to spend your day.

Location, relaxing atmosphere Several problems with the equipment. On the first day, the water heater stopped working, then the freezer, and finally, on the last day, the electricity and the air conditioning also stopped working.
