Grand Hotel de Paris

There was an ongoing bedbug infestation, one of the persons staying in the room was severely bitten all over the body, and probably they got with us to our place. Also problems with Wi-Fi. It doesn't work past the 1st floor.

Location The facitity is very poor and old. There is no air conditioner.

everything was broken in our room 36. the wall jacks were falling apart; the bathroom water would not drain; not much space to hang the clothes; I would not recommend it.

No wifi in the room. I told it to the reception and they didnt care.

The location was vey good for access to shops, restaurants and the Metro. The front desk staff were very helpful in getting us connected to the Wifi, but we had to use their breakfast room, as the Wifi would not work in the room. The room was very small with not a great deal of space around the bed and was trapezoidal in shape. It had a spiral staircase which did not suit us, but did have a lift. It was probably the worlds smallest lift and could only accommodate one person and a suitcase at a time and was a little bit claustrophobic.

The location was terrible, the hotel was ugly, dirty, dark. The beds and the room were terrible, the elevator was claustrophobic. And the price was very expensive for what it was. The photos from the website don´t match the reality

room is dirty, needs repair like the chair, nails from the bed frame is protruding, risk for injury. Hair dryer is not functioning, cabinet door is hard to open, overhead light only one is functioning and electrical switch is functioning but parts are falling down like the cover

Front desk don't say hello. You have to acknowledge them first. Room smelled musty, windows not open for it to be ventalated.

There are some issues with a pipes, they made such a noise that without ear plugs I think I couldn't fall asleep

The staff was very kind and helpful throughout the stay. The location was very good, very close to the metro and the bus station, which made getting around very easy. The breakfast was very poor and did not change at all during the stay it was the same every day, with only some tomatoes, cucumbers, and 3 types of meat (prosciutto and salami). The room was not as shown in the photos; it was quite old and not as nice as presented. The floor was not level, but slanted. Also, the neighborhood did not feel very safe and was a bit noisy at night.

Proximity to Gare de l’Est Narrow lift, should be better maintained old building, needs renovation. Extra supplies e.g. pillows not available.

Nothing Staff unbearable

Was all great, i informed that was my boyfriend birthday just expecting a nicer view, they left the room fully decorated with a cake for him, was the nicest surprise. Will for sure be back! Thank you to the staff for making it so special❤️ It was all great.

The check in staff was very friendly and held our bags before check in. While the hotel staff is incredibly kind, the hotel itself is damaged and very dirty. The bedding was torn, stained, and was damp when we got into the room. The bathroom was the worst part, the shower was dirty and had a lot of visible mold. Everything else in there was unclean as well. The door to the room was damaged and did not feel secure, and the furniture was either already broken or falling apart. It was so bad that we checked out within 30 minutes and found a new hotel.
