Hotel de la Porte Dorée

Our room was very small for two people and the room was a little worn out.

3 bus stations near by and metro just in front of the hotel

Very good location just a few steps from Metro station. Good bed, good shower, clean, elevator. We can leave the room keys in the reception so it is good you’re not afraid to loose them. We recommend it! Nothing

The building is beautiful and cozy. The decoration of all areas are in line with the history of the city!

nicely decorated hotel. We were in one of the largest rooms on first floor-street facing. Metro right there was convenient! Stairway across street to access verde couvee walkway. So disappointed that my first floor double window flowerboxes had brown dead flowers. Was really a bummer as it detracted immensely from beauty of room and hotel This was a mid may stay and no rationale for not placing some fresh geraniums or allysum or other simple flower. All the window boxes on this floor had dead plants. Also no dairy milk or cream readily available for coffee in lobby or room Only oatmilk. However I finally realized I could ask staff for dairy milk--but did not have it in room.

Located a five minute walk from the magnificent Bois de Vincennes Park, the Hôtel De La Porte Dorée is located in Paris’ 12th arrondissement. The hotel is older, but very well-kept, and did not look worn. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was ok. It was clean but small (expected in Paris), with a decent sized bathroom with a shower only. The bed was a bit too firm, but serviceable. There was no closet, per se, but an open Ikea-like closet shelf and hanger set-up (not very user friendly). Overall, the location and cleanliness of the room were fine for a short stay (two days), but anything longer term would have become more uncomfortable for two people because of the size of the room.

Great hotel! We'll located near the metro line and the park, the staff are very kind and the facilities are very nice. Breakfast definitely worth it! Highly recommended

Absolutely stunning hotel, great location right outside a metro stop. Good breakfast each day. I chose the small single room, they manage to fit everything they need into it quite well.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Room 12, where we stayed, was right next to the hotel's public toilet and there wa a lot of traffic in and out of the toilet which had a very loud door when it closed each time. Very noisy.

Everything was great. We recommend it. There were no slippers

It’s near the metro, so you can hear a bit of the noise. But it doesn’t affect our sleeping.
