Hotel La Perle Montparnasse

Superb

The accommodation is all right, you get what you pay for. We just needed somewhere to sleep for one night as we were catching a train early in the morning. The place was clean enough and the room big enough and the staff was friendly and polite. There's no lift but our room was on the first floor; not much soundproofing so you can hear other guests. In any case, we had a good sleep which is what we needed. Also, very important to know, and something that would make me not to stay here again: before your stay, they block an amount on your bank account. They said it would be released upon checkout but it's been 10 days since I left the hotel and that amount is still showing as blocked in my account. I've had to contact several times regarding this, I've been given contradictory information on each occasion.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The hotel is very clean, and the rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels provided regularly. What really stood out to me was the staff. The reception team were absolutely amazing — extremely friendly, kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. The hotel management also contacted me before my arrival to ask if there was anything I would like them to prepare for my stay, which I thought was a really nice and thoughtful touch. You could genuinely feel that they cared about making their guests feel welcome. The location is a little far from the main tourist attractions in Paris, but there are buses and metro stations close to the hotel, so getting around is still quite easy. The area is also very quiet and peaceful, which I really appreciated after a busy day in Paris. Overall, I had a great experience and really enjoyed my stay.

The room was smaller than i thought but the location is perfect, near metro station, restaurants and supermarket. The receptionists were so nice!

No lift

Great hotel. Everything is clean, AC, cleaning the room everyday, very nice and friendly stuff. We liked it.

The staff was nice, the location is pretty good, a walkable distance from most places, not too far from bus stops and shops. Everything was clean and tidy, the atmosphere was good too. Air conditioning was a big plus. The room we got didn't have any windows to the outside, which was not mentioned (but I might have missed the mention of it)

There was no lift between floors, so we had to negotiate 3 flights of difficult circular stairs with a case, leaving one case downstairs overnight. This was not good for my wife's arthritic knees. Customers need to be aware of this issue in advance! The room had nowhere to sit apart from a hard chair by a small desk. Somewhat clostrophobic.

The location is nice, centered, with nice bars and restaurants around it It wasn’t clean, the sheets were stained, and a lot of hair in the bathroom, and some dust on the floor, they filled the shampoo bottle with water
