Hôtel La Sanguine

Fantastic location in the middle of Paris, close to several metro lines. Excellent air conditioning (I was there during a heat wave), good breakfast and wonderful staff who took the time to ask about my stay and tried to foresee my needs. I liked everything and would definitely stay there again.

The worst The worst

This is a charming boutique hotel run by a family intent on accommodating the guests as best as possible. In one of the nicer neighborhoods in paris - near embassies, private clubs, and fine dining. I had a very nice stay and will return!

Friendly staff The rooms are quite small, and the property lacks both an elevator and a proper lobby. Breakfast options are also very minimal

Location was excellent, staff was nice and friendly, bed was very comfortable, AC was great Bathroom towels were thin, toilet seat was broken which led to frustration

Room interior

It’s really clean and close to all places we plan to visit. The staff are all really helpful and friendly giving us good advice about watching pickpocket and nearby places. They also serve good breakfast daily. They also provide housekeeping service during our 2 nights stay. Our whole family enjoy the stay. It doesn’t have the elevator but it’s Paris and historic building. So we are able to manage.

A truly exceptional family run hotel. It is rare to see the deep hospitality, warmth and genuine desire to see to the guest’s every need. Location is awesome. Awesome in all respects!! Nothing!

The room I stayed in was way too tiny and the bathroom was especially very cramped! Had I known that it would be so small, I probably would not have booked this place. Also, there are two flights of stairs to get to my room and I had to carry my luggage which was not very comfortable.

The location was perfect, so close to a lot of subway station. It’s within 30 mins to a lot of museums and opera. The room and bathroom are a little bit small. But it is not a big deal for me because the location of the hotel is so perfect and the staffs are so friendly.

The best welcome I've ever had a hotel. The staff were so kind and helpful! They offered me a pot of tea and organized an airport shuttle for me for my early flight, and had plenty of advice and recommendations for making the most of my visit. Fantastic location right in the heart of Paris. A lovely mix of old building and new features, it had everything I needed for my short stay. No elevator so it's a bit of a hike if you're on the top floor like I was. Still, that's to be expected in Paris and especially for the price it's a fantastic deal!

Just a little advise, please check the bed and the pillow because they’re not that much comfortable.

Staff and location Stairs are narrow and steep

Good location, very clean, and very friendly. Single rooms are VERY small. Walls are quite thin so can hear your neighbours.
