The atmosphere is very welcoming: the staff speaks English, parking is available, and a bottle of water is offered daily (very helpful in the hot weather in May). The hotel is close to many attractions, yet quiet. The hotel building itself is old, so there is some noise from other rooms, but it's not a big deal.
