Really helpful staff, comfortable room, clean hotel and beautifully decorated. Only downside is that there is no lift so getting bags up and down to the top floor was a bit of a work out. But that's no fault of anyone, fully aware it's an old building and a lift is not feasible.

Nothing DO NOT BOOK HERE!! Avoid this hotel! Days after checkout, I was charged an extra €80 for “missing towels,” which I did not take. The hotel’s only justification was that their cleaning team “confirmed” this — no photo, no report, no evidence whatsoever. The management never signed emails with a name, and ignored my requests for an internal investigation. Based on other reviews here describing the same pattern, this appears to be a recurring practice, not a one-off mistake. I had to resolve this through my credit card provider. If this happens to you and you are ignored, I would absolutely seek help elsewhere — talking to them directly doesn’t help. On top of that, the room was slightly dirty, definitely has its years, was on a high floor with no elevator, in an unpleasant area, and there was no hot water — I had to shower in cold water. The stay here ruined my trip to Paris. The feeling of unfairness was awful and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. As a solo female traveller, I started wondering if that played a role in targeting me as a victim. I’ve never had a negative experience in a hotel and I never left a negative review, so this one is the first one in my life, but this hotel really deserves it. Book elsewhere.

The bathroom was good. The coffee and machine was good. They took good daily care of the room. Room had a hair blower, iron and iron board. No elevator, and not much space around the bed. The shampoo and douche gel came in small packages. No small fridge to keep water or food cold.

★★★☆☆ Overall a Pleasant Stay, but Disappointed by Unexpected Charges The hotel's location was convenient for visiting Montmartre and many nearby attractions. The room was comfortable, the hotel itself was pleasant, and we generally enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed having a seperate sofa bed for the 2 adults to sleep seperately. However, I would caution other travellers, particularly women, that the area around the nearby train station felt quite unsafe both during the day and at night. We found the surrounding streets to be somewhat dodgy and uncomfortable to walk through at times. We used uber to avoid the metro stations as it was chaotic and threatening at times. The hotel could also benefit from improved floor cleaning. During our stay, the floors appeared dirty enough that our feet would become black from grime when walking barefoot in the room. We did not raise this during our stay as the accommodation was otherwise comfortable and we were not looking to cause issues. The biggest disappointment came after checkout. The hotel charged my card without my consent for allegedly stained towels and a bath mat. While I fully acknowledge that one towel had a makeup mark, which was an honest mistake, the hotel charged us for three towels in total. Some of the dark marks photographed appeared consistent with dirt transferred from the room floor onto towels and the bath mat. Towels placed on the floor for collection also may have picked up marks from the floor. When I queried the charges, no independent laundry report or evidence was provided to show the items could not be cleaned. Instead, I received photographs of the items before laundering and a hotel-generated invoice. I was disappointed by the tone of the subsequent correspondence, which I found unnecessarily rude and dismissive. Responses included remarks such as "I hope this is a joke" and repeated refusals to consider my concerns regarding the cleanliness of the floor or the lack of evidence that the towels were permanently damaged. One other consideration for travellers is that the hotel has stairs and can be difficult to navigate with large or heavy suitcases.

Staff very welcoming & helpful. Rooms clean & comfortable. Breakfast was very good, plenty of options. Fresh bread & croissants every morning. Great location for metro, however didn't feel safe after dark near metro Saw active drug deals, people trying to sell cigarettes as soon as you got off the metro. Felt uncomfortable. (However couldn't fault the hotel)

Great stay overall! Everything met our expectations, and the breakfast offered a decent variety. A special thanks to the considerate staff who placed us on the 3rd floor instead of the 5th due to our heavy luggage, as there is no elevator on-site. Please note this hotel isn't suitable for elderly travelers due to steep, winding stairs and no elevator, though staff will offer bag assistance. Additionally, our check-out experience was disappointing. A male staff member with thick glasses was noticeably rude in both his tone and posture while answering my questions, choosing to express his frustration in French rather than speaking to us politely and professionally in English.
