Ibis Paris Gare Montparnasse Catalogne

It was exactly what I needed for my short stay. I only needed a comfortable room near the train station which had good air conditioning and was clean/comfortable.

Everything was great! Especially Martin who runs the front counter. He was attentive to my needs and was the perfect spokesperson for Ibis. Well done Martin, people like you are the reason I still use Ibis. I am a long term customer of this chain and I was very pleased with my stay. Nothing.

Was tight fit with 2 long-haul suitcases, but managed.

Loved the staff, Daro and Ariane were very efficient and helpful after we had a few tough days travelling, and a few cancelled bookings A more extensive evening menu could be good, but the breakfast was spot on

Smaller than I expected. Very limited parking. No fridge or iron.

Quiet room to the courtyard in a busy area. Great shower and a comfortable bed. Very close to the TGV station. Lack of a laptop safe but I should have noticed that when i booked!

Location We stayed at this hotel in room 508 and unfortunately had a very frustrating experience with a lost item after checkout. We accidentally left behind a Kindle when we checked out at 7am on 15 May. We called the hotel around 9am the same morning and informed the front desk, and the staff member assured us it would be kept safely for us. Then, on 18 May, before returning to the hotel, we called again around 2pm and were specifically told that the Kindle had been found and that we could come collect it. However, when we arrived, we ended up waiting almost an hour in the lobby while staff searched everywhere for it. In the end, nobody could locate the device, despite it previously being confirmed as found. We were then told it would instead be mailed to us. What is most disappointing is not even the lost item itself, but the lack of organisation and the amount of time wasted during our trip to Paris. A proper lost-and-found process should be standard in any hotel, especially after an item has already been reported and confirmed as found. We are still waiting for confirmation that the Kindle will actually be shipped back to us in Barcelona. I hope management takes this seriously and improves the handling of guests’ belongings and communication in the future.

The bed was super uncomfortable

Friendly staff, quiet room, 5 min walking distance to subway station and a good breakfast ! Prior to arrival we called hotel to ask for a baby bed. When we arrived bed was not there. Then they supplied a broken baby bed and it took them 2 nights (out of 3) to fix the problem despite couple requests.

We always choose this particular Ibis when we are in Paris. The location is great and convenient. Cara and the rest of staff are always so nice and welcoming

Breakfast is fine. Location is close to restaurants and shops. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. Room should be a little bigger. No telephone inside the room to contact the staff for room service. Complimentary bottled water would be nice if provided. The pillows are small. Two pillows in each bed would be more comfortable.
