Very central for our needs - close to station and walking distance to Notre Dame. Plenty of cafes at doorstep. Room was small - bathroom and toilet tiny but appeared new. No much room for suitcases.

Location is great, easy for transport to all different parts of the city, and some cool places within walking distance. Good strong air con which was invaluable during the heatwave. The rooms are tiny. Would be very tight for two people.

Very helpful staff, quiet room, comfortable and clean; there were even biscuits for the tea and coffee provided I felt just fine in the room, but for individuals who are taller or larger in size it might feel cramped; lift stops in between floors, as most retrofitted ones do.

I needed to be near the Gare d'Austerlitz for a train connection but didn't know the area. I liked having a choice of cafés and restaurants on the street and also the Jardin des Plantes nearby for a quiet walk. My room looked onto a back courtyard with trees. The room was small but newly furnished and carefully thought out to make best use of the space. The kettle on a shelf by the desk was a great touch! There's a lounge for residents downstairs, with magazines. The staff were very polite and efficient Rooms facing on the street probably have more traffic noise

The staff- they were all so lovely. Genuinely very kind people. I could not understand the drain on my first day and they were so willing to help. They let us leave our bags behind after check out and when we returned before our flight they gave us loads of advice re getting to the airport, getting snacks in advance etc without us even asking. Really so lovely! The room is a tiny bit cramped but this is only to be expected with this location at this price range! It was still very appropriately sized for an action-packed holiday ... the room was really just a place to sleep/shower.
