Everything was honestly great; the staff were very helpful and friendly. Kuta, in particular, is truly the best. I forgot my charger when checking out, and he came and found me on an electric scooter to return it. He was there whenever I needed anything The power went out, and since there was no generator, I was inconvenienced for an entire day; that was the only downside

Booked Casa Kapuas based on all the great reviews about this place but also because everyone was gushing about the host named Tan! Turns out they were right! We were welcomed with refreshing dragonfruit smoothies and treated like family from the second we got there, which made it really hard to leave. Mornings were roosters, cows lounging in the field, and a delicious breakfast that we looked forward to getting out of bed for (especially the fresh pineapple juice). The villa itself is beautiful, clean, air conditioning on point, and super peaceful, but Tan is what makes the place. He’s funny, easygoing, and just genuinely a great host. He also just started his first clothing line, and I ended up being one of his first customers. If there’s any of his merch left while you’re there - make sure to scoop it up - you’ll want something to remember the place (and him) by ? Absolutely nothing

Pros: its much quieter than the main strips on the water - you can find peace and quiet easily. The staff Tan was incredibly nice I wouldnt book included breakfast - it isnt great and there are good cafes and such on Gili instead. The location is quite inland - its fine if you rent a bike. Honestly this place is very basic and I dont think I would stay here again given the other places I saw once i visited (towels were never changed unless we insisted, there was no mirror except outside at the sink, the cold air of the AC left the room very easily because of the swinging doors in the front and back that didnt stay closed easily, outdoor bathrooms next to each other meant we heard other people using the toilet, etc)

The staff was absolutely amazing

This place was amazing! Such an amazing vibe thanks to Tan, Marco, and Deka. I stayed at a few hotels in Bali, but hands down this place was the most memorable. Had a great time just hanging out at the bar having Bintangs and great tasting coffee. It was my first time showering outside and it was so refreshing. The room was clean and the AC was perfect. Also the pool was nice and clean. Overall an awesome experience and definitely my favorite place throughout my 2 week vacation. Most definitely recommend Casa Kapuas! Not a damn thing.

This place has the friendliest and most helpful staff we've had on our Bali trip. They were ready to shift us to a different room when I brought up an issue about the AC (which was not really much of an issue. We had to keep the doors shut for longer). They were proactive in making sure that we were going to the right places by providing recommendations. The room was pretty good too. We got hot water for a longer period as compared to the other places we stayed at.

It was perfect ! Everything is beautiful, far away from the noise and as the same time not far away from the beach! Perfect! The place is really beautiful and it really looks like the pictures

The entire hotel is wonderful. The rooms are super clean, has everything you need and kept in calming colors in the interior wich creates a nice atmosphere. The pool is a great size and the bean bags and hammock is fantastic in the evening. But the absolute best thing about the hotel in the personal. One of the owners Alpin and his right hand Tan are the most amazing helpful, funny and warm-hearted people. After our 5 day Stay I truly consider them friends. Overall a must stay in Gili Trawangan and will definitely stay here again at a next visit.

We came across this accommodation by chance and can say that it was by far the best accommodation on our 4 week trip. The location is great and you can reach everything super quickly. Alvin, our host, helped us organize all the activities (snorkeling trip, bike rental, etc.) and gave us good restaurant recommendations. Transport to and from the port was also included in the price. You could choose breakfast every morning. Short version: 10/10? Our host told us that the hotel opened a week ago. The attention to detail was immediately noticeable here. Always my pleasure!! Casa Kapuas is a beautiful, clean, perfectly located place to stay. With exceptional staff, big shout out to Alvin and Tan for all their hospitality, willingness to help and for making out trip to Gili T rememberable. Would definitely recommend, 10/10 would stay there again. N/A
