The hotel bar has been stripped of alcohol for Halal compliance.

i love the room jaccuzzi, and the location on the hotel is so prime. I wish that there would be more choices of breakfast. For the two days I stayed there, they served noodles on both days. It would be nicer if they switched to alternative dishes.

Location is amazing and that’s it. Nothing else. We booked the 3 bedrooms property and another room in the main building. My review is mainly for the two-storey shoplot that was converted into a family unit and it was not well kept at all. The paint on the wall was peeling everywhere, the bathrooms were just downright disgusting to say the least. Mold was visible on the bathroom floor, under the sink, in the shower stall, the smell was horrid and I could go on and on. The jacuzzi on the first floor was not draining well and it was dirty when we first arrived. The fridge was not clean and the kitchenette was not fully stocked with appropriate utensils. There were dust on the beddings, on the living room furniture and the floor was not vacuumed properly as there was trash on the floor left by the previous occupants everywhere. Highly disappointed with the stay and will not repeat again.

Breakfast is a little dull with little options.

It’s a good hotel, I got the jacuzzi , thank you so much, we got 2 bed room. The breakfast simple but so delicious ?, the staff so nice The smell of the wood. And the bed i think you should renew
-
Good location and very large place We booked two beds and a sofa bed for 5 people but when we arrived there were only two beds so we paid for an extra bed The extra bed only come with the mattress, it's like you are sleeping on the floor so we ended up not using the mattress bed, we wouldn’t have booked this place if it only slept 4 people instead of 5 For breakfast, we need to pay for an extra person even though when booking for 5 people

It is a unique and historic hotel. You can get to Street Art and Chulia night market just by walking. Many restaurants and cafe around. Nice and welcoming staff, decent breakfast

This boutique hotel was dreamy! The history lessons throughout the hotel are so eye opening. Each room is like stepping back into the past. While the room was amazing, there was no sound isolation in the room. So if you are sensitive to sound don’t stand on the Hutton Street side, it’s a busy street with an auto shop right outside.

Clean, large rooms,, dining room!! No complaints

I was not a big fan of the breakfast as I like bacon and pork and was not offered at the hotle but they had many choices too chose from and the eggs and coffee were good .

I loved the balcony.

Good location. Good aesthetic rooms. Staff was good.
-
The hotel location was good. Walking distance to many attractions. The decorations were amazing. The room was a bit ran down. No exhaust fan in the bathroom/toilet. Cannot access to the Balcony. Breakfast was average.

The hotel was walking distance to tourist sites and lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Our room was large and beautiful. The staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good. The only problem we encountered was the very slow internet even in the early hrs. of the day. I have to go to the lobby in order to have a good connection. Our room was on Level 1, #11.

I really felt at home here. Between the balcony, large bathroom with tub, loft bedroom, and desk my room felt like a little apartment. It was quiet and the staff were wonderful. Very charming decor in a very cool heritage building. Very convenient walkable location. Reliable housecleaning and breakfast if I wanted it. I stayed for a month, but could have moved in permanently quite happily.
-
location is too loud especially if you are facing the street floors creek so you can hear upstairs neighbor walking especially at night time bed is VERY HARD breakfast is limited and same every day room service needs to be told to clean your room
-
The location is perfect! Right in the middle of George Town, walking distance to attractions. We loved both the interior and exterior decor. It’s so authentic, gives you that old classic feelings. The bath tub looks not so clean, so I chose not to use it. There are small flies/mosquitoes inside the room, but they didn’t really bother us.

It was a really bad experience I ever experienced in my hall life. The staff were very rude. When I arrived no one helped me to take my luggages , I took them to my room by myself. The smell was very bad in the lobby and room . I did check in after 5 minutes I did check out and left immediately. By the way even the staff did not asked me why u want to make check out . They really don’t care about their customers. Anyhow that was too bad . The WiFi is very poor and weakness, I swear I couldn’t connect to the Wifi from my room when I went down to see with the reception staff they asked me to connect from the lobby . Can you imagine that !!! Nothing

Cool art and stuff in the hotel, staff was good and the location is great Beds were not great for the price, the gym is rundown and the layout of the room was very bad, breakfast wasn’t very good

We loved our Transit suite. It was spacious and had authentic character and appeal. It was generally quiet and cool for sleeping thanks to the AC and ceiling fans. We also had a lovely jetted soaker tub. The bedding could be improved and the bed is too hard. Also, the grounds are surprisingly neglected. They need a complete landscaping improvement. It’s a shame because it really diminishes the appearance of this historic property.
