WE ARE NOT A DOG/PET FRIENDLY INN. In the market town of Penzance, The Longboat Inn is right opposite Penzance Train Station and a 5-minute walk from the beach. This family-run has a restaurant, a Mediterranean-style beer garden, a traditional bar with outdoor seating and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Rooms at the Longboat Inn have private bathrooms, LCD TVs with Sky channels, and tea/coffee facilities. Telephones, radios and hairdryers are provided, ironing facilities are available on request. The restaurant serves traditional homemade food using local ingredients where possible. A variety of breakfasts are served daily. The traditional bar stocks a wide range of award-winning beers and ales, along with specialty coffees and teas. Live sport is shown on the bar’s HD/3D screens. Luggage storage is available (Guest only) , and Penzance Harbor is within a 5-minute walk from the hotel and has regular boat trips to the Isles of Scilly. The town center has a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. 'No pets allowed in rooms'.

Lovely bar and restaurant. Staff were great, room was all we needed and comfortable.

Excellent location with a comfortable pub vibe. We appreciated being given a quiet room. We also enjoyed the little library in the pub area… very cosy on a cool day! The breakfast was also very good with vegetarian options.

It was convenient to the train station and the meals, room and staff were awesome! It was a very warm night but there was nothing they could do about the heat- we had a fan in the room which helped a lot.

Value of breakfast was superb along with the excellent taste. Atmosphere was great for both Pub and rooms. As someone not from the UK the shower could have included a sign for how to operate it.

The room and en suite bathroom were clean. Beds were comfy, perfect for those coming off of the South West Coast Path like us. Delicious breakfast, and the hotel’s restaurant also offered good dinner. Staff were very helpful too, especially with luggage storage post- checkout.

Very close to train and bus station Clean. No musty smells or or odours. Comfortable beds. We really liked and would stay again. Beds were comfortable. Not enough surfaces to put things. There were two people that shared and we needed a larger shelf in bathroom, needed a bedside table on the other side of the bed where the electrical outlet was. We used a chair to put stuff on because there was not a bedside table where it was needed. The shower could have been made the entire end of the bathroom, it was awkwardly laid out.

Location was great and morning breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Parking was easy to find - a bit pricey but easy to get to hotel. Staff was great - got us in early and so helpful!!!! Bathroom was very tiny and difficult to get around in.

Location near the train station with easy access to south coast path was great. Charming pub/dining on main floor was very convenient. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was basic but comfortable. Took a while to get hot water going in the morning. Windows were older so street noise wasn’t really blocked. Generally wasn’t an issue for sleeping though.

Great, location right next to the train station and central Penzance. The breakfast was amazing and service was wonderful. The room was very clean and the building itself had a lot of charm. Staff was also very welcoming.
