This modernized Victorian home is now a 4-star guest house a 5-minute stroll from the beach at Penzance and 3 miles from St Michael’s Mount. Penzance Railway Station is 20 minutes away on foot and provides connections to Truro and beyond. Guests can hire bikes from the Torwood House.

Our host Linda was lovely and breakfast was very generous. It was rated 8.5 and I don’t think it lived up to its rating…it was dusty and worn.

Fantastic stay, spacious and clean room with all comforts. Delicious breakfast menu. Ms. Lynda and Mr. Steve were two lovely and super kind people. Highly recommended!!

The staff was very lovely and helpful! The breakfast was great, good choices of cooked food (which was delicious) and decent selection of cold food. The room was nice and spacious The only thing we didn't like was the bed, it was not particularly comfortable

Torwood house is a beautiful victorian house. The rooms are really spacious. The hosts Linda and Steve are wonderful nothing was too much trouble. The li action is great a short walk to the seafront. We will definitely recommend Torwood house. We couldn't fund anything to dislike.

Staff are genuinely lovely people, and very wleocming. Breakfast was very nice, and the bed was comfy.

We really enjoyed our stay at Torwood house, the bed was super comfy and it is a gorgeous location! We only stayed one night, as we were travelling to the Scilly Islands and it was the perfect pit stop for us!!

Location and street parking which allowed me to make the most of seeing and doing so much without the use of the car! Always being incredibly full after breakfast! And the hosts, incredibly friendly. Not sure if this is possible but being able to hear others late at night or early morning walking around bedroom/bathroom.

Location was brilliant for a base trip around the tip of Cornwall This is a great BnB, large room, Lynda was very welcoming and Steve provided a great Breakfast Walking distance to waterfront and parking easy A few steps to manage
