Hampton Inn Phoenix/Glendale/Peoria

Property is under renovation. No staff communication, nothing stated online that no amenities available during this time. I would not have booked at this hotel had I known no pool, no gym, no laundry services. There was a sign at the front desk about the gym but nothing else. Yes continental breakfasts are pretty standard at most Hampton locations but this was especially terrible. Nothing about this hotel was anything like a Hampton should feel like. Disappointed is an understatement. Stay was luckily only one night. The room was hot, the fridge did not cool. The hallways smelt musty and humid. Again - not a Hampton experience. Could’ve gone to motel 6 and had a better experience. Will not be back, even after renovations.

Good location Good breakfast Large room Comfy beds Free parking Washing machines didn’t work- we asked a member of staff regarding the laundry room, he gave us wash detergent, We put our clothes in the machine, came back to check and they weren’t washed, We transferred them to the other machine available and the same thing happened. I asked a different member of staff the next day while collecting the clothes and she informed me the washers are not working today, no sign was placed on the machines and it would have saved me a lot of time if I was informed of this the day previously or if a sign had been placed on the machine. Had to change up quarters for the machine which I never got back.

Was not notified at time of reservations that the hotel was under a remodel staff was not helpful when I asked for our bathroom sink to be fixed since water pressure was next to nothing. The room had air-conditioning while while it was running it sounded like there was a motorcycle in your room.

The room was clean. The air conditioning keep the room cool, but would shut off when we were gone. We got back to a hot room.

Clean quiet and convenient access to shopping meals and Az broadway theater

I understand that renovations are improving the property...however, my needs were met by efficient caring people who cared...I will be back!!

Staff were great, room was clean and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was amazing.

What I didn't like is my sister said, it had a sewer smell in the room. My smell is gone so I can barely smell. Also the the plumbing in the bathtub was slow draing and the sink

Property is undergoing a much needed renovation, but I don't knwo the degree of updatung the owners are pursuing. Would not book here again before the renovations are completed.

The hotel was good for what we needed.
