Nice location, very helpful to backpackers. Nice staff. The kitchen and common areas weren’t as up together and clean as expected

Location with parking

Excellent value -- it offers a lot for the price. The staff are helpful and friendly. The communal areas were a little cramped, most specifically the kitchen and dinning areas.

Good Everything nice

Good value hostel with large rooms. Some parking available on site.

Nice and helpful staff, close to downtown Perth. Wow! Nothing

I liked mostly the friendly staff. Noisey kids

Outdoor pool was nice to have, was also nice to have a shower in the room. Location was good it was walkable to the train, the main downtown area and lots of local restaurants etc. Beds provided no privacy, were really squeaky and a plug wasn’t close to the top bunk. mattresses were uncomfortable, staff weren’t the friendliest and didn’t provide much guidance upon check-in, breakfast included shouldn’t be in the offering all I saw in the kitchen was 3 types of cereal and 2 empty milk bottles

Everything was lovely, relaxing, easy, friendly, convenient, comfy- and exciting. I am 40yo and stayed with my mother and my sister -we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and want to move in. (We shared double rooms) ✌️? Thankyou to all staff and cleaners. Wonderful job. Minor- (The toilet in room 12 continues to run after flushing.) Just needs a tweak.

the rooms are very spacious, the staff is very nice, it was clean, generally quiet, and the silence hours were respected the breakfast included part is disappointing - bread with a few options for spreads (all low quality) + milk and some cereals. it is something, but it's the worst i've had also the internet doesn't work once you pass the 1st floor

Make sure to get a room facing the pool, otherwise it‘s a bit noisy at night.

A lot of younger kids around partying
-
The kitchen every evening was full of dirty cookware left inside the sink or above the stove from some people staying in the hostel..

Rooms are spacious, but don't include basic amenities like a full-length mirror, hangers, a chair, or a table. I stayed for a week, despite requesting a mirror & clothes hanger, the staff couldn't arrange the same. Also, WIFI does not reach your room. That's a major, major, major disappointment and inconvenience, as the common area is very chaotic, busy, and has no privacy.

The single room was comfortable and the shared facilities were good. It was great for solo travelling and if I was more extroverted I could have made a lot of friends. The staff were very helpful and let me check in earlier since the room was already ready - and they let me leave my luggage in the storeroom after checkout because my flight was at night so I could give the city one last tour. It's very very conveniently right in front of a bus stop so I could go to the city super quickly and easily. Their free breakfast of bread and assorted jams are great for anyone on a budget and can survive on toast for a good few hours. There's also a Salvation army further up the road if anyone needs an emergency outfit and a Mcdonald's nearby for late night food. Should mention that the surrounding area is mostly residential and safe for walking, too. One con is that there are only stairs, so I had to carry my luggage up. But I asked one of the other travellers for help so it was alright, and I'm sure the staff would have helped if I was unable to carry it on my own. And other travellers tend to hang out around the pool area and make noise at night - a request to keep volume down after midnight would be great.

Absolutely recommended :))) staff was approachable and everythings just great

The breakfast was missing a fruit or an boiled egg, but was good even ?

The staff at the reception was very helpful We noticed a persistent, unpleasant odor in the room that seemed to be coming from either the bathroom or the carpet. The housekeeping staff only emptied the bins and didn't attend to any other cleaning tasks. We were also disappointed to find pillows covered in long hairs, a visibly dirty carpet, and a leaky shower. To make matters worse, the shower would consistently run out of hot water around 8 pm and stayed that way throughout the night. The room itself was very cold, and the small heater provided was ineffective - it was impossible to feel any warmth from even 20cm away. Overall, the room's cleanliness and maintenance fell short of our expectations.
