Room mattress was so uncomfortable!. Breakfast was great, beautiful view, food good at pub, but service awful because short staff. Good location. Staff very friendly.

The rooms were super cozy! It’s an older property but has a homey feel. Rooms were super clean which is #1 in my book! Would definitely stay here again!

seated at the edge of town, this is a great spot to stay if you’re looking to hang out in Petoskey proper. you can walk everywhere and have a base to come back to when it’s time to recharge. we loved it and thought it felt like escaping to a little city on the water.

Staff was best in class. Everyone made us feel welcome and treated us with so much kindness. Room was clean and food was best we ever had.

I only rated it four stars because the hotel is dated. However, I'm certain that in its heyday, it must have been so elegant. The food was very good, and the food and drink coupons were very generous. Though I only rated it 4 stars, I would definitely return.

I have only praise for this property. The staff was beyond exceptional! The property is located on beautiful grounds and just a short drive to downtown Harbor Springs. If you are looking for a new and modern facility this is not for you. Rather, it is eclectic with charm and sophistication. The food and wine selections were great.

They had a wedding Friday and Saturday. And I only had a problem with the wedding on Saturday. I didn't hear anything for the wedding on Friday but Saturday (on my gosh) I still here the boom boom until 11 o'clock at night. I get it, It's a wedding

We had an economy room. Not too small, bed was comfortable and there was a small loveseat in the room. We could NOT control the temperature of our room as that wing of the hotel had not been upgraded. The staff was very helpful in maintaining the temperature, but it was still awkward. Location is perfect for shopping and dining. The hotel is NOT on the water, but it is a very short walk to the waterfront. Breakfast was amazing! Highly recommended.

Very charming hotel breathing history. Clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely porch with morning view on Lake Michigan where, while enjoying the excellent breakfast, Ernest Hemingway could almost appear and sit down next table. The amazing great Lake, inspiring shops in Petoskey's city center, excellent restaurants - all within a few minutes walk. We enjoyed relaxing days.

Fantastic staff really enjoyed the room. Everything was amazing. The bar in the area was fantastic. Had breakfast the next morning and it was even better. Highly recommend this place.
