Hot water worked great in sink. However the shower was Luke warm. I called for maintenance and nothing changed. I just pushed through because I was there for medical stay. However that was terrible.

Great hotel!

Good all the way around. Cant beat the location for seeing the main sites.

Very nice place and excellent location

The room was amazing, very comfortable, exceptionally clean, and surprisingly quiet at night. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bathroom was in excellent condition. Overall, it was a real pleasure staying here. I would happily return and definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. I want to highlight the fact that we were offered a complimentary full breakfast on one of our nights, which was greatly appreciated. Staff was also amazingly helpful.

I love this hotel, the location is wonderful for seeing the city. The rooms are enormous which is great when traveling with family. It's great to sit in the lobby and have coffee in the morning. Valet was very nice but the staff at the front desk wasn't the most pleasant or helpful. Overall great hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location.

I've stayed at other Kimpton hotels and was excited when I booked a room here. However, I was disappointed. The towel that was hanging on the wall of the shower was damp. The floor towel was very old and had a hole. I dropped an earring on the floor, and when I was looking for it, I had to look under the TV stand - it wasn't clean. Carpets in hallways weren't that clean either. Elevators need to be updated. Overall, the hotel didn't have a luxury feel.

Valet & bell service was a bit slow and confused / confusing but Room was spacious clean beautiful hotel loved very much overall

The hotel was very unique and quaint. We loved the restaurant attached for drinks and food. Amazing location in seeing the major sights.

We booked this hotel when we found that it is very close to the historical landmarks. The staff who greeted us was helpful and told us our stay would be smoothly connected even though the two nights were booked via two channels. When we entered the room, The Kleenex box had two pieces of tissues left. The next day after we went sightseeing, our key was disabled. We had to get the new keys. When we got back to the room, all dirty towels were there, all trash was not collected. We had to request new towels and brought trash to the trash bin next to the reception desk. We waited for an hour, still no delivery of towels. I talked to a couple of different staffs to finally resolve the issue. Overall, I feel their service is not consistent among difference staff level. I hope more training were given to the staff to provide best service to the customers. You would think valet parking is convenient, it took much longer time for us to get the car than we were told originally when we requested parking. We could have changed our plan if it is explicitly written on the website that 20 to 40 minutes wait is expected.

Beautiful suite right in the middle of Liberty Square Would have liked a coffee machine in the room, but I think you can ask for one

Staff went out of their way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Great location. We loved the style of the rooms. Breakfast was good.

Overall, the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia was a nice, clean hotel in a great location, very close to many of Philadelphia’s major attractions. Most of the hotel staff we encountered were kind, friendly, and courteous. Unfortunately, our first impression was not good because of the valet staff. They were not friendly or welcoming at all and acted almost as if we were bothering them. Since they were the first employees we encountered when arriving at the hotel, it started our stay on a negative note. The other major disappointment was that our room was not ready when we needed it. We had plans that afternoon and ended up having to get dressed and ready in the hotel restroom because we still could not get into our room. To the hotel’s credit, they gave all three of us breakfast credit for the following morning because of the inconvenience, which we appreciated. Once we got past those issues, the hotel itself was nice, clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location. Most of the staff were very pleasant. With better service from the valet staff and having the room ready on time, this would have been a much better experience.This version is fair but still makes the valet service and room delay clear.
