Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Philadelphia Airport

This is one of the most disgusting hotels I’ve ever walked into. After viewing my room and the area around the reception, I decided it was unsafe to stay there. There’s a lot of renovation going on and the carpets and room were filthy. The hallway smelled like urine and I just could not stay I would not recommend it to anyone.

When we checked in, we were given a different room than what we paid for. My husband went downstairs to inquire with the front desk person and was told that there were no rooms available. As my husband went outside to get the rest of our luggage from the car, the front desk person knocked on our door. He begins to tell me that he was going to move us to a different room (the one we booked). I am paralyzed on my right side from a stroke and can not move very fast or carry anything in my right hand (the hotel person was well aware of this because he saw I couldn’t sign my name on the check in forms! My husband had to sign my name and the make of our car). I was told to get our stuff even though I was in the middle of eating my dinner and the front desk person already knew I was unable to use my right side fully. My husband was coming with the rest of our luggage and asked what was going on. He was upset the hotel personnel made me carry our bags and didn’t assist me with the bag in the room! My husband took the bag and I followed him to the new room. We moved to the next room and my husband had to go back downstairs to get new card keys for the new room. I believe we should be compensated for what I had to experience. It could have been avoided if we were checked in to the right room we paid for in the first place. My husband is from Philadelphia and we come back and forth to Philadelphia and we use your hotel every time we come to see family and friends. This was the first time we had service like this. Hopefully this will be addressed and we can be compensated a free room our next stay or something of the same value.

Staff super helpful. Easy shuttle to airport ride. Will keep them in mind for future trips.

I am requesting a refund! I did NOT stay in this property it was disgusting! I checked in and canceled the reservation as soon as I saw the room and surrounding areas were absolutely deplorable! I will be disputing the charges with my credit card company also!

The guy at the desk was ok, friendly and Courteous. Not the Hilton experience I'm used to. Very run down dirty. Coffee pot in the room but no coffee in the room. Carpets and cushions were grossly dirty. Walked to the room and it was an icebox AC was full blast to 60⁰. I would not have stayed if I had not checked in so late and had to catch such an early flight.

Stayed there before. Decent room, not fancy but very affordable, clean, good location right outside the city if you need a place to stay while visiting Philadelphia.

Strange smell. Carpet was questionable. Lighting was very dusty.

Hallways and stairs were a bit rundown but my room was clean.

Great breakfast

Convenient to airport. Stains everywhere, shower broken, premises loud, didn't pick up phone to answer calls.

I stay one night over all was good.
