Athenarum Portus Life & Style Hotel

Very convenient location, between the port and the marina. It was an easy walk from the port to the hotel. The first room we got smelled like smoke, but they quickly gave us a new room, and said we could have complementary items from the mini bar in the room. The staff was very polite and called a taxi for us. The lobby and the rooms were well done and clean. Everything was great besides the initial cigarette smoke smell in the first room we got.

We had a wonderful stay at Athenarum Portus Life & Style Hotel! The hotel is modern, stylish, and in a fantastic location, especially if you're catching a cruise, as it's just minutes from the port. Our room was comfortable, the beds were great, and we slept very well after a busy day of sightseeing. Breakfast each morning was delicious with plenty of options, and the staff was genuinely kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens before or after a cruise!

The property is near the cruise terminal and ship berths in Piraeus, which made it very convenient. It’s also a short walk from the metro station. Many restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Nothing in particular. The shower partition was a little smaller than it should have been, which resulted in water all over the floor in vicinity of the toilet no matter how careful you were. This was not a big deal, though. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed.

The location is fine for travelers catching an early ferry. The hotel room was clean, but the hallways could use updating. The location, otherwise, is not nice and unless it's a convenience thing for ferry purposes, most travelers would probably opt for another neighborhood. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Location, staff was very nice. It was the smallest most uncomfortable room i have slept in on the entire month we have been in greece. We had to step aside to get to the bathroom. The sink was in the bedroom. Towels had holes in them. Hallways were dirty.

Very clean and well decorated with friendly staff. An upscale experience in Piraeus. Also have Apivita products to use in room which I appreciated Difficult parking and drop off situation due to traffic and location. Could’ve just been the day and time though

Location to port was easy and convenient, and the hotel itself was fabulous! The staff were great and the room was spacious and lovely.

The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The hotel is 2 streets away from the train station which was a plus. We could get to all the major areas by the train, really easy to use. The breakfast was great, something for everyone. You have to order any eggs at the counter, many people did not know this. The restaurant connected to the hotel was nice and had some tasty food. The neighbourhood, if you are catching a cruise and staying for one night it is fine. If you are wanting to explore Athens this is not the neighbourhood to be in. The taxi driver even warned us to be careful when we were being dropped off. We never felt unsafe, but were saddened to see some of the homeless people in the area. Please offer them your pocket change and food if you have it. There was not much around at all, we walked around the neighbourhood. The closest hop on hop off bus is a 10 minutes walk. The elevator in the hotel was not quick at all, if the hotel is busy you will be waiting for a while.

The employees and the location were great. The combo shower toilet area is ridiculous. The whole area got wet and took forever to dry. Also only 6 cable channels and all were in Greek. Awful. Not a lot of decent restaurants nearby.
