The beach the pool the food Inconstancy with the staff. A few were great but unfortunately the majority need to be more friendly and smile more.

It was hard finding a bed in the beach. They have to improve the service. All the beds were already reserved early in the morning, even if it is not allow. I was not happy with the a la carte restaurant. They have to improve the quality of the food.z

I had a wonderful stay at Bahia Principe Ambar- Just Adults. The food was absolutely delicious. with great variety and excellent quaility throughout my stay. The restaurants were beautiful, well organized, and the staff provided outstanding service, always attentive and welcoming. The New Year's Eve celebration was well planned and enjoyable: however, due to the rain, the experience could have been even better if the administration had preventive measures in place, such as covering the venue or providing altenative arrangement would make special events even more exceptional. - remember guests who travels for this special ocasion for relaxation and enjoyable Party for the New Year. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would gladly recomended this resort for its food, atmosphere, and hospitality. I look foward to retuning in the future. The hotel needs more daily and evening activities. at times, guests can feel bored, and additional entertainment options would greatly improve the overall experience. The private club occupies most of the best beach areas, leaving limited premium space for others guests. A better balance would make the beach experience fairer and more enjoyable for everyone. Staff uniforms urgently need to be updated. For a resort that advertise itself as luxury, the current uniforms do not reflect the high-end image expected. The front desk area needs urgent renovation and modernization. It does not match the elegance and quality of the rest of the resort. The mattresses in the rooms must be replaced as soon as possible. Confort and quality sleep area essential, and the current mattresses do not meet luxury standards.

Proximity to beach. Lots of seaweed this time

Bahia Principe is a big complex of about 5 resorts. Staying at Ambar you can go to the entertainment in the other resorts, but they cannot come to Ambar as it’s adults only. But I saw some parents and their kids disrespecting this and the staff had to redirect them. The food was great, staff was very polite, beach was constantly being cleaned, golf carts available all the time to take you to the other resorts, gym was very complete, AC was very week but it wasn’t a problem for me. I found it to be very expensive because it’s child free and still having some kids coming over. Most of guests in Ambar were elderly ppl in their 60’s, 70’s. There were a few cute cats and kittens that caught a lot of attention of many guests and I wish Ambar would have some responsibility in spaying and neutering those cats and keeping them around as they were very popular. I would definitely stay here again. Kids were still coming to Ambar, Hotel not taking care of the cats.

Nothing at all, this resort will not be a resort that I will recommend to anyone The staff was unfriendly. I had to pay 30 days in advance, but I wasn’t informed about an app I needed to use for bookings. The Wi-Fi service was poor, and the resort didn’t fulfill my requests for my birthday celebration. The soda was in the refrigerator in my room, but it was outdated, as one guest mentioned it was from July 2025, while we were in September. The staff didn’t lock up and clean up after cleaning the rooms. The doors were left open with dirty linen scattered around the floor. I’m still trying to figure out why one of the shuttle drivers turned off the light on the shuttle bus, leaving me alone with him. It was creepy, especially considering the kidnapping vibe. However, he would have died if he had played with me.

Nothing that was within hotel's control. Experience was great.

- good drinks - Buffet was excellent (much better than the à la carte restaurants) - good life music and entertainment - The bathroom in the room was poor. Almost no water preassure in the shower and no toilet brush

Everything is very nice, it is a beautiful hotel, room was comfortable, pool is big and never got fully packed any day. Beach is super nice but we had a lot of sargazo so we couldn’t enjoy it much. Room was clean and room service worked well everyday. In general food and drinks during day time were ok, nothing to complain there! Also, they have fun activities to do each day/night, so it’s not even necessary to leave the resort! They could enhance the food and the service provided in the dinner restaurants, the only restaurant we felt good was Limbo because it was one of the ones “adults only” so it wasn’t that massive. We didn’t enjoy our time when we went to the Rodizio and the TexMex restaurant as the service wasn’t great, think probably it’s because it’s more massive as the rest of the resort guests can go.

Facilities are good, the staff was really nice and helpful and room was so clean The bathrooms need to be clean more often

We loved the pool and the beach with the huts. Most of the staff were very friendly. The room was excellent. Really difficult to make reservations at any of the a la carte restaurants which was very frustrating. Anyone should be able to go to any restaurants without being turned down.

The location was amazing, and the beach and pool were so relaxing. The food was okay, the buffet was better than some of the restaurants we tried! Service was always on point. Would definitely go back.
