B10 Distinctive Hotel

If it was a little less expensive or a discount was given for a week, I would have stayed longer.

It was very conveniently located to the ADO bus terminal and also 5th avenue. We felt completely safe. Very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. The bathroom was really nice and there was hot water immediately. There was an elevator. The only thing I would say was both patio doors did not lock. For security purposes it needs to be fixed.

Very helpful front desk staff. Room felt very modern and clean. Great rooftop pool and view. Location was close to a lot of PDC restaurants/bars but without being too noisy.

It was our first time in Playa Del Carmen so we spent a lot of times outside. The location of B10 is superb. We took Ado Bus from Merida and the bus station just a few minutes walk. Going to Centro and the beach is like 5 mins walk. We really enjoyed the city. Also, surprisingly the bed, pillows and linen are very comfortable and good quality :) nice balcony We booked three bedrooms but it literally is two rooms (402&403)that can be connected to each other which we had no problem with. However, the room upstairs (402) wifi didn't work at all...we ended up burned our own data almost 10 GB. We notified the staff but the issue not be fixed! Also, as a person who used to work in a hotel business in Canada for almost 10 years...B10 has potential to be a very good hotel...I think they need a good management because there are many areas needed to be improved. For instance, there is no place for guests to sit while waiting for check-in. There are only two uncomfortable wooden chairs. I know the space is limited there but a couch along the wall should not be a problem! The other thing was the room (402), there are two set of dinnerware (bowls and plates) without cutlery and glasses...Why just dinnerware?? There is a kitchen in the room (403)with pots and pans but there is no dish detergent, sponge and kitchen towel. We cooked only breakfast there and we didn't feel like to leave all dirty dishes and glasses for a housekeeper to clean so we went out to buy those items. I know it didn't cost much but all places that we had stayed that had a kitchenfor guest to cook, they provided those items...kinda a nice touch. A few bottles of water would be nice, too. Also, the counter top was full of ants when we arrived...not really well cleaned. The door on the bedroom upstairs needed some attention, it made a squeaking sound every time we opened, and we notified the front desk but nothing happened! Don't get me wrong, we really enjoyed our stay but would love to see B10 becomes a better place for us to stay next time!

it was very hard to find the hotel - it has no house number, and there are 2 streets with the same name. We had to do multiple rounds around the block to finally find it.

Location is great and very central. It was also close to a dive center which was relevant for us. Clean bathroom with a large counter area to place things. The shower was great and the water pressure was great. Safe and guarded parking. The room is poorly designed and gives a very cold feeling, there isn't a single decoration item and everything is very minimal. VERY noisy room until late hours and the staff could not provide us with earplugs and they did not want to contact the boss to get us earplugs. The shower/bathroom share a window and a wall with the neigbouring room and at times it sounded as if we're in the same apartment, we could hear the people next door blow their noses, pee, shower...

Calle 10 Norte Bis, Playa del Carmen – Honest Review ⭐ Location: ?️ The best beach area is about 110 blocks away. ?️ You are 2 blocks from the main road, with shops in both directions. ➡️ Right turn → shopping mall ⬅️ Left turn → beach area (but very far) ? Corner store directly across the street ? 1 block farther → ADO Bus Station ? 2 blocks up → Walmart ✨ Convenient for groceries + transportation ? Not convenient if you came for the beach ? About the Room & Amenities: ?️ Big living room + big bedroom (lots of space) ? Stove turned on but didn’t heat enough to cook or boil water ? No discount offered even though the kitchen didn’t work ?️ Staff speaks no English, communication was difficult ? They advertise a rooftop pool, but access was locked ? We went up to swim — no way to get in, so pool seems unavailable ❌ Would I recommend it? No. I didn’t travel just to have a big room. When you book a place, you expect working amenities, a usable kitchen, a no pool.

The property had a nice balcony, it also had a spacious room. It was very close to the center of the city, making it easy to walk to places! I felt like the property lacked some personality.

Location, area where you can literally rest in the hotel and party by taking a short walk to 5th Ave. Amenities, no ironing board, iron or water to drink.

Very surprised about the accommodation, great room, great location, all the staff were very friendly and helpfully. We extended one night because we loved playa del Carmen but also because we loved this place.

Veronica welcomed us, excellent service from staff during our stay. I needed a clothes iron, they didn't have one.

Clean, spacious and central No washing up liquid or tea towels for the kitchen. But lovely kitchen area otherwise - so minor point
