Good location. Staffs are nice and helpful. Room facilities such as towels were very old and worn out. Daily room cleaning was not adequate. Water pressure was extremely low for sink use. Heavy construction noise all day long. We even found some cockroaches in the cabinet.

Breakfast was okay. Restaurant staff was nice. Rooftop pool was cute. Front desk staff is unhelpful and you have to get everything from them (check, breakfast coupon, pool towels). The pool isn’t as pictured. There is no pool bar, like they say. It’s not very clean and a lot of it is broken (like my room door didn’t close right), the shower head was like tied together. I paid more to stay here and it was the worst hotel stay I’ve had in Playa.

Zero Everything

The pillows and beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept done in a hotel room. Also, the air-conditioning was really cold and cold and felt really nice. The rooftop pool is definitely a lot smaller than it looks, and there are no umbrellas for a shade. There are only a few lounge chairs, which was not what it looked like in the picture.

The beds were comfortable and the location was good for walking to everything. The pool was empty. The rooftop was awful and dirty. The breakfast was closed. Fixtures in the room were broken and rusty. There are no washcloths. If you are out and they dont clean the room you can't get stuff like towels and tissue until the next day.

We booked the loft, stairs were very poorly fabricated, and dangerous to go up and down. You cannot stand up on the mezzanine because it’s too low (below 5’, or 1.50 m). There is no light close to bed so you have to get up carefully and go to the stairs. The shower door did not close well so water was always running out. The toilet was always cluttered.

The room was great, and the location is amazing if you want to stay in downtown at an affordable price. The room was very clean; the only downside is that it was quite small, though this wasn’t a big surprise since it was clearly stated in the description. It would be very helpful if the A/C could be turned on before arrival, as the room was very hot when we first got there. The small balcony is a nice touch, perfect for enjoying a coffee in the morning. Overall, we loved our stay. The main issues were the lift and the pool area. The lift was out of service, and we were only informed upon arrival, though it wasn’t a big problem for us since we had little luggage. The pool area was disappointing because it’s such a beautiful spot with a great view, but it just needs more care — some furniture cleaning, regular pool maintenance, and ensuring no leftover cups or bottles. With a little more attention, it could be an amazing highlight of the property.

The central location felt safe. It was within walking distance of the beach, the mall, and many restaurants. It was next door to a 24 hour 7-11so it was easy to buy drinking water, snacks, and hot-dogs for my picky eater. The 8 minute walk to the beach was lively with a lot of street vendors, restraunts, and singing. It was a party every night. The included breakfast was very good. The pool on the roof was a nice end to a hot muggy day. The staff was all nice. The elevator was out (they told us that before we booked). We got the first floor, which was good for hauling our luggages just the one floor, but it was a hike to the 5th floor every morning for breakfast and every evening to the pool. The process of booking was very slow. It took over an hour to book two rooms. The communication barrior was difficult. I took a year of Spanish in college, but it was not enough to understand or book the room without them typing in everything to google translate. Our room cards had to be renewed everyday, as they stopped working no matter how many times they were programmed til the end of the stay. They put plastic bracelets on our wrists and expected us to wear them for the week. What??? The street was loud. Not so much with the party music you could hear on the walk to the beach, but with Police noise. They surround the areas and are very loud with their car noises and their megaphones. We couldn't sleep without earplugs or a pillow over our heads until after 11.

Being close to the bus terminal and next the busy road, very noisy at night.

Nice hotel, but the rooftop does not look like in photos. The staff was very friendly and hotel is sourronded by many atractions. The rooftop needs maintenance.
