Hotel San Vicente

The location was 7-10 minute walk from the the beach. I really loved the cafe next door as well as the little pool area with the hammock. The first night we didn't close the bathroom door and it was very loud as it doesn't have a full window, but the other nights we did and it was great. I thought the beds were a little hard, but my brother said he likes a firm mattress and really enjoyed them. We could've been provided with more toilet paper, and there were no hand towels. The fan didn't work in our room, but the AC did, so that was great. The room also pictured a hammock that was not actually in there, but the pool hammock made up for it.

The coffee shop next door was amazing

The location The tv doesn’t work, the restroom was dirty and the mirror was grey. Everything looks old

Pants hanging on the window. The window has literally wall-view.. no good places around to eat. Looks unsafe that location.

Easy to find, close to central The fan didn't work... and I don't think the pool exists anymore .. I just stayed the one night it was nice

Nothing Rooms are old, moisture on the walls, they charge for using safe , I do not recommend this hotel

The staff very rude, the room no clean full of dust in the floor, not hot water, wet towels not completely dry.

Great Location and the breakfast was lovely, very enjoyable. The safe was broken and the double mortice lock on the door didn't work as the lock was misaligned, although the top lock worked, but I would have preferred these things were working.

The internet was slow

Clean and spacious rooms, the breakfast at the restaurant Casa 8 was so delicious.. will definitely recommend for someone adventuring in Playa del Carmen for a couple of days. All good

The building is very old, but its good for one night if you are traveling from place to place

The a/was really good/ but they turn it off when we leave the room supposedly because electricity was so expensive!!!! Everything was a chaos even the staff

Asked for toilet paper and clean towels never got them until I went to pick up myself

the bathroom has no place for hand towel, it is too uncomfortable because of its small size. the facilities are old, not very well maintained, the wooden bases of the beds are larger than the mattresses and have exposed parts that hurt when passing through because it is a very small space. The table had no chair to sit on and not even a bottle of water was provided as a courtesy. The pictures in booking are from very previous years, they should show the reality of all the rooms.

Even though they asked for our check-in time, it was not possible to check in after 10 pm. The Man at the reception told us we have to pay one day extra, even when the check out was at 11, we were not able to get out room till that time. He said there was no reservation under our name but we showed the confirmation of booking as well as we saw our reservation on his PC. Just a scam!

Good location quick 10 mins walk from the strip on what should be a quiet sleep. However unfortunately opposite the hotel there is a small dog that barks all day and night and when you walk past almost launch’s itself off the roof /balcony it’s on. Room spacious and clean. If steps are an issue for you our room was up three flights of steps. Dog barking all night ! Also no prior warning that the pool was out of action when we arrive it had lumps of green algae in it and was under going it’s shock treatment the next day so sadly would only have been ready the day after we left. When I asked about the pool on arrival they said it was having work done to it and would be ready tomorrow it clearly was never going to be ready in time and wasn’t for our stay which would have been nice to know in advance as we booked this place as we wanted a pool very annoying. Finally the main dislike is that they tried to charge us more than the booking.com price. Only after arguing and showing booking prices did they accept this. They said the prices need to be changed and were wrong and we had to pay more originally. Also when paying they tried to charge more 4% for using card so we used cash then they didn’t have the right change …

Great location near the bus station and bars, restaurants. Good value for money. Nice restaurant in hotel for breakfast. Nothing. Was great for our needs.
