A 2-minute walk from Plymouth Hoe Promenade, the family-run Drake offers guest accommodations 5 minutes' drive from the ferry terminal. Dating back to the 1830s, it offers free on-site parking (first come first serve basis but reserved spaces for disabled users may be possible) and WiFi. Accessed by stairs only, each guest room at The Drake has a flat-screen TV, wardrobe and tea and coffee facilities. All have an en suite shower room with toiletries provided. The city center, the Theater Royal and the Plymouth Barbican are within 5 minutes' walk of the Drake. The bus and railway stations are also nearby. A variety of cafes offering breakfast are a 5 minute walk away from the guest house. The Drake is close to Devon’s border with Cornwall, with the town of Saltash less than 7 miles away. Dartmoor National Park is a 20-minute drive from Plymouth.

Free parking. Brilliant access to Plymouth. Ideal place to walk to anywhere relevant to Plymouth. Staff where so natural to communicate with. Very pleasant stay. No problems. Mushrooms and sausages were not to my taste, but well cooked and edible. The eggs were excellent and overall excellent food. Just being picky. Would I book again, definitely one of the best places in Plymouth for the price.

Love the location. It's right on top of the lighthouse, the barbican is only 10 mins away depending on your walking pace and shopping 5 mins away. Staff super friendly and helpful N/A

Very near to centre and near a car park De-lux room was rather on the small side It was downstairs, at the front of the building facing a brick wall.

super central to both drake circus (shopping centre) and the hoe, short walk down to the barbican. lovely cooked breakfast each morning, clean room & very friendly attentive staff. parking at the rear of the property has very tight spaces, people with bigger vehicles would struggle.

Great location, close to the Hoe and the city centre. Very comfortable, great food and lovely staff. Onsite parking was a bonus. The accomodation stated that there was a bar but it was only open for a few hours and hardly any in the evenings. No-one told us (until our last night) that we could go to the sister hotel a few yards up the road to have a drink. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Hotel was vey clean, breakfast had good variety. Staff excellent customer service. All was very good and i would return..need ti remember to book the parking.
