The location was great, the pub downstairs was not extremely noisy. The design of the room was nice. The beds were confy. We really liked sitting on the window ledge. The staff were nice There was extremely hot outside (and inside), but we couldn't get cold water from the tap. It was warm. There would be great to make some drinking water faciliy for the guests.

No coffee for breakfast (Nescafé only) Floor in the room wasn't vacuumed. Carpet in the room was so dirty and old it was scary.

A lovely location, right next to pubs, restaurants and the shops. The room was clean and had lots of useful amenities and the ear plugs were a nice touch as it was a little noisy from the bars next door. A very comfortable stay with lovely, accommodating staff. Thank you.

Very noisy but it was expected to be fair.

The place was clean. The location was convenient. The price was reasonable. We were hurried out of breakfast, when we were finished eating and just relaxing - enjoying the view. The music in the nite-club below started at about 11pm and continued until 1.30am. The decor was clean, grey and characterless - little sense of an historic inn in an historic, harbour setting.

Nice quaint place in Plymouth communication when checking in could be better.

Great location, really handy for us as we were attending an event at the venue. The room was really spacious and well presented. Main bed was also very comfortable. Shower was really nice and bathroom was clean. The sofa bed was dangerous. It wasn’t made up on our arrival and I was unable to unfold it myself without hurting myself. A member of staff helped me unfold it but it was also awkward for her. I then went to put a sheet on and the bed collapsed while I was on it. I then wasn’t happy for my son to sleep on it, so we took the thin mattress off and he slept on that on the floor. The staff member on shift at breakfast seemed a bit annoyed with us for being there, maybe he was stressed.

Great location and very comfortable. Friendly staff and a great menu for breakfast. The nightclub next door. I think our room was probably the only one affected but the hotel did provide earplugs. Bass music vibrates through the walls.

All good. Room was food

Very comfortable, clean room with everything you need, including a frig. great breakfast, in a very lively, very walkable location. Very helpful, personable staff. Tanya and Christine are real gems. You’re living over a pub, so you need to expect loud music and revelry outside your windows. Earplugs are really helpful when you want to tone it down - -it’s all part of the experience.

We stayed in the Family room with sea view & it was just beautiful! Very spacious, comfy, decorated tastefully & had great views. Side entrance was handy so we didnt have to walk through the busy bar. The breakfast was to die for & the ingredients were top quality! Can get a bit noisy outside but earplugs are provided!
