I only tried breakfast once, as the experience was not good. The breakfast was disappointing, and the lady working there was rude and seemed to be rushing everyone. Overall, the stay was okay, but the breakfast service and bathroom condition definitely need improvement.

Breakfast was great ...but no eggs ?? I will return soon

Great place to stay

The room is very spacious, however it did smell like mold. The room was mostly clean except the bath tub. We stayed 2 nights and didn’t have any issues. The location is perfect, the parking is good. We didn’t eat breakfast or swim in the pool so I can’t speak on these however the pool was packed so I’m sure it’s good. Overall for the price we paid I wouldn’t mind staying again. Only complaint was the smell when we first checked in and the towel return. We had to take every single towel back to the office to get fresh towels. A minor inconvenience especially when getting back from the beach and wanting to shower overall a 7/10.

Everything was great with our stay and the staff was very helpful.

This is a older hotel... cracks around baseboards etc... the property had not been mowed and there was trash on the side walks and parking area.

Wish I could leave a 0 star review. Checked in at 1130 at night so First the sheets were terribly stained like they hadn’t been changed then the replacement sheets were completely ripped. We were tired from traveling so decided to see how it would be. At 1215 the smoke detector started going off for 5 seconds not just a beep from a low battery. Then again at 130 and again at 220. I then called to the front desk from my cell phone because the phone in the room wasn’t working for the manager to come remove the smoke detector. After that the doors to the room and bathroom for our room and the neighbors rooms were all not aligned properly so you had to slam the doors to get them to shut so we heard the neighbors all night long. Upon waking up at 7 we found the bathroom was full of mold in all of the corners and on the mirror. And all night the air didn’t blow cold so the room smelled musty which after seeing the mold I realized it was the mold we were smelling. They wouldn’t refund for the full stay only for the night that we didn’t stay. They said because we stayed there we had to pay even with these extremely bad conditions. Run far from this hotel especially for the prices they charge for these harsh conditions.

We had bugs in our room and the Pool and hot tub were filthy

I check in at 4:30pm head to my room and unload all my stuff. Lay on the bed for 15 minutes and start to change to head to the beach, I look on the floor and notice a huge half dead roach, laying on its back wiggling around. I thought, if there is one there are more. I move the couch and see more dead roaches. Move all furniture and start seeing more! Behind the fridge was dirty rag with a roach underneath it. Finally I lifted up the mattress and there was one hiding under the bed and ran. I immediately picked up all my stuff, shook it off, inspected it, and put it back in the car. I notified the staff that I was NOT going to stay in this room. They told me EVERY place I stay at has the same big roaches that it wasn’t a big deal. They sprayed before I got into the room so it would be fine. I’ve stayed at many places in Port Aransas and have never had this problem. I demanded a refund and was told NO. I kept complaining and they said the “person in charge” was not there to issue refund and he wouldn’t do it anyway. Money down the drain. They said they would lose money and couldn’t book the room to anyone else. I left and booked at another hotel. That location was fine. I drove by a few hours later and someone else was already in the room I left. They kept my money, no refund, and booked someone else to double dip. After 6 days and threatening a negative review, they decided to give me half the money back. For 30 mins in a roach infested room…. Never again.

The pool/hot tub area was absolutely beautiful. The water was a great temp in both. There was no elevator, just steps outside. The breakfast was ok, but not kept warm sometimes. There was black mold in the room's bath/whirlpool so they changed us to another room. It was ok & they were nice, but not quite what we were expecting. For the really good price Expedia gave us, we were satisfied for the most part.

Plantation Suites Hotel, I have nothing good to say about our stay. We did not get what we paid for? The bathtub was horrible, looked as it had never been cleaned the bed was very uncomfortable. The couch smelled like urine. No one cleaned our room and before we got new towels, we had to take our old towels to the lobby. I gave this no star (Terrible).

Didn't have access to the beach like it said

Staff was nice. Rooms were clean. Nice breakfast set up.
