Holiday Inn Express & Suites Port Aransas/Beach Area by IHG

The breakfast is a full breakfast with lots of options. Only 1 elevator, so be prepared to wait at checkout time. Only about 3 blocks to the beach and a very short drive to lots of restaurants and store. We'll be back!

This is a very clean and well managed property. It's the best hotel I've stayed at in Port Aransas. Room was spacious. For a senior citizen the shower was hard to get in and out of, but held on to towel racks. The breakfast was OK. Would have liked scrambled eggs and potatoes. Coffee selection very good. Pool was large with waterfall. Overall, great place to stay!

The room was very clean, the staff was very helpful, the breakfast was replenished as needed, and our room was super cold, which was great during our summer stay. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel, and our most recent experience was the best.

Pool closed at 11pm

The pool was warm not filled to top and water wasn’t too clear. The guy making breakfast had an attitude and the food hurt every one’s stomach. We all keep having bowel movements. I will say that my family and I were able to enjoy ourselves without staff bothering us . We played music. They ran out of tooth brushes which is a shame because we spend a lot of money on this hotels .

Clean over all property maintained staff was extreamy helpfull and nice rooms are clean and roomy.

Bc of the impending hurricane, my family decided not to come to the beach on the dates of July 23-24. And bc I missed the deadline of getting a refund, I'm out the cost of a night at the hotel. I value my family's lives more than $$. I will not be using Expedia and am highly disappointed in IHG. I even tried to get the dates changed but no one would answer back to approve this changes. So this review will be less than a 1.

The hotel is conveniently situated 10 minute walking distance from the beach. The hotel has a pool and jacuzzi which were opened until 11 pm. Our party had 3 adults and we stayed in one-bedroom suite. The room was clean and spacious. The living room and the bedroom had 2 separate air conditioners. The hotel served full breakfast every morning. Also good-quality coffee machines served coffee around the clock. Our room had a microwave and a refrigerator. It would be nice to have a microwave in a breakfast area as well. Overall our stay in the hotel was very enjoyable.

Walls too thin. Could hear voices in next room. Otherwise outstanding.

Access to beach was great. Room was too small for 6 people, not enough space to move around. Closet door was jammed shout. Sofa bed mattress smell like pee.
