I couldn’t even check in. It was a last minute booking, the site said check in anytime. I go to check in and there are no staff on site, office locked, and no instructions on how to check in so I wasted my money and had to cancel my plans.

Power was out due to severe storms, no advance notice or human to talk to.

Our reservation was cancelled 2 hours before check in via text message- blaming booking.com for overbooking !! We were travelling a long distance with dogs and hot weather !!! Needless to say this was a major problem and inconvenience!!!

Terrible place. Had reserved a suite in February for a stay end of May. Was traveling from PA to Indiana and halfway across Ohio I checked my reservation. Thought I would check in...no found they had just cancelled my reservation. No reason listed, called no answer at place, left messages. Continued to the place and found no one there and the place locked up. Went next door to a country suites and asked them about the affordable suites and told them what was occuring. Manager not surprised and assisted me in calling the cops to file a complaint. Country suites was also very accommodating in getting us a room and helpinh out. Affordable Suites never called me back. Thankfully I booked through Expedia and they immediately refunded me my $$. Beware this place is a rip off and I was also told by numerous people that it had a bedbug problem multiple times.

Nothing They canceled my reservation 2 hours before check in time

Absolutely nothing. This place says they have business hours for check in but those hours are not posted anywhere. The general manager woke up and checked us in but was extremely rude to us the entire encounter and the room was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. This should not be allowed to be booked on a booking website because it’s not even a real hotel.

We reserved and paid for a room here — which the property confirmed that day — but when we arrived, the staff was difficult to find, and when she eventually came out she said there were no rooms available. She was extremely rude and did not explain or help redirect us to another property nearby. Luckily, the Expedia help line was able to find another room for us.

Staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and the kitchen was good. However I booked a non smoking area room and signed a paper for that but unfortunately it smelled like cigarettes in my room. The couch had the smell and it was very strong all around not pleasant. There were fights in front of my door at night sometimes and someone did knock on my door at 2 am and left randomly making me feel unsafe.

We were ripped off… my driver showed up and they told him to go to another hotel because they had no A/C and now the hotel will not reimburse us. We had to get another hotel room at our expense…. They are thieves !!!

We drove almost 3 hours to get to Portage, In. I had made my reservation online well over a week in advance. We get there to check in and were told our reservation didn't exist and that they didn't have a room available. They of course blamed Booking.com. So my husband, 2 kids and I had to scramble to find an available room in the area for the night.

No staff available at 10PM, couldn't check in. Note to call someone was on window, called, no one picked up, But, got cancelation.

I booked my room two months in advance. Thank god, I selected to pay when arriving. So I only was charged the insurance protection fee of like $5- $10. Day of booked date, I had a feeling to check my email, luckily I did so. I got cancelation notice. I was not happy because while I was on the road to that hotel, I had to find another place last minute. And never got refunded the insurance protection fee.

The office closes at 5:00pm. I never got to check in. I had to cancel and find another hotel.

They literally cancelled my booking the morning of the day I was scheduled to check in. Left a voicemail, with a call back number that nobody answered all day. Was told it's an "extended stay facility, and the people staying decided to stay, so they have to cancel my reservation"

Very good

I never thought office is closed every Sunday, when we arrived I tried to call the number posted on the door to know how could we check in but no answer. Its good that I saw the housekeepers and they have enveloped about my booking details; however the room was not ready yet, she asked me to wait about 45 min. Otherwise, our night of stay was good, reasonable price but needs some maintenance work in room 209 for the hair blower , toilet flush and window.

Couldn't check into the hotel after 3pm

I arrived at approximately 7:15 pm and no one was there to check me in. I called two numbers and no one answered. Finally, someone answered one of my texts. The room indicated in the text was not ready when I stepped into it at 7:30 pm. A housekeeper showed then and started cleaning. It took about 15-20 minutes. The room itself is spacious – akin to a smaller one-bedroom apartment – but in a horrible condition (grease on the ceiling in the kitchen area, handles missing from the cabinets, extremely thick layer of dust on the window blinds, etc.

The room felt dirty. Cabinets didn’t have doors. The furniture was stained. The room smelled
