Great place to stay either pets. There was plenty of green space to let the dogs get out their wiggles.

Stayed here for 5 nights while in town for a conference. Location is amazing, views were stunning, everything was nice, comfy, clean, etc. It’s just an outdated hotel, especially carpets and finishes, bathroom especially. Staff was okay, some days they held the door, some days they didn’t. Housekeeping everyday rocked, room was spacious and comfortable, lobby area was inviting and nice. I’m praying I never have to go to Portland again but if I did I would stay here.

Hotel is dated

Bad experience had valet can’t use parking had to use public parking I’m driving Tesla using phone as key. Room had weird smells and floor not cleans. Had cityline view room was blocked by trees I can see what? Room are noisy can hear outside plays music. Bathroom not the same as photo. Not recommended for second time.

Our room was spacious, but of course we paid nearly $3000 for it so I would expect that. I liked the daily housekeeping as well as the full kitchen in our townhouse. I wished the hotel would’ve provided free water bottles in our room. That would’ve been a nice amenity to enjoy for the price we paid. As far as criticisms go, the toilet paper roll is not adequately positioned in the master bathroom. It was very uncomfortable to roll out. Also the shower is definitely needing to be updated. Ours was scratched and a bit dirty looking. Also, a very small and confined space. The last thing I wanna mention is in regards to families with small children. I know you guys get that information prior. You should book rooms accordingly. There was a family with a small child right above us that was running for hours along the floor every morning. It was so disturbing. I had to call the front desk and have them do something before I took matters into my own hands. Small children should never be on anything but the first floor!! You must realize this! For that reason, we might make a bigger deal of which room we’re staying in if this were to be a problem once again.

Very accommodating Staff. Breakfast service was slow, but it was delicious. I did have to check my bill carefully at checkout because they tried to charge me for parking although I did not bring a car.

For breakfast, I recommend Little River Cafe next door. Very local and cool people.

To be fair, there was an event happening all around the hotel which certainly impacted the feel and seclusion. The rooms look like they could use updating and polish - they were pretty banged up. No safe or closets in the room. No free water in the room though they did have carafes in the lobby. Our “river” view consisted of peeking very hard through a brush of trees to see a glimpse of river. Everyone seems pretty checked out here - no one to greet you or tell you how to valet - friendly enough but just not professional. Untidy hair, clothes, etc. Not what I would recommend as a “nice” place to stay. The event had honey buckets surrounding the green space next to the hotel and people of all kinds loudly interacting around the clock. We were glad to leave after just one night. I think the best thing about the hotel are the pictures of it on the river. Go to the Ritz instead - we had a good stay there in the past.

Great location to walk around the water front. Nice wine reception in the evening. All staff was really friendly and helpful. Printed and scanned forms that I needed. Really comfortable room.

Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Housekeeping services could be a tad better as often they did not leave adequate replacement coffee and on one occasion left used cups and glasses in the room. Plumbing services need to be improved as well-I had notified the front desk twice about a very slowly draining bathroom sink. The repair man came and went, but did not fix the issue. Other than these minor things, this was a great stay.

Riverplace was a very nice and clean hotel. It was close to the river and other amenities. I will definitely stay here again.

The place is nice a little out of the way maybe. The 60 dollats a nite for the valle service is a stone rip off There are public facilities basically right next door. I parked in the street and the car was not bothered. They have TCM which always makes me happy

This was a nice hotel at one time, but it seems like the place is run down and in poor condition now. The Front desk guy and the valet/bell guys were helpful and friendly. The onsite restaurant "King Fish" should be avoided. The food we ordered was not good and the woman seating people at the breakfast service was quite rude both mornings we went there (since it was included in the room fee). The Italian restaurant next door is great! The River Cafe next door serves a good breakfast. We ate there the second morning after leaving King Fish in disgust after the hostess continued rudeness (A large women with light hair around 25-30 years old).

This is a perfect place to set out and explore Portland. Situated right on the Willamette River in the middle of everything, the Riverplace has a professional staff eager to help. The rooms are clean and the common areas inviting.
